Salyni Nelvayn has taken over Amaya Lake Lodge and placed a shrine to Dibella there and has welcomed all the others to
come and stay for a break so everyone has their own room.

Shrine of Dibella you say? This one may have to check it out...

Now I've learned to make a keg, and installed one in each of my houses, it doesn't matter any more.

Nothing like a good drink by the fire after a hard day adventuring. lol

I need to make some kegs for Autumns Gate (went ahead and purchased it last night after all). I enjoy owning all the property in The Rift now. Plus, Autumn's Gate is right outside a little town where all they do is drink. So, stumbling home is never a far journey.

Anvil in the Gold Coast is where my characters feel most at home. It’s where I train my horse, use the bank and thieves guild refuge. It was the first place I explored fully when I started.

Second would be Bangkorai because I fully explored it when I lived at Mournoth Keep.

Rivenspire for my main DC char. I bought the house there and I love the DB soundtrack it now uses as well.

My EP chars tend to live in Windhelm (which on Xbox EU is mega quiet 99% of the time, attracting only questers), because I love the skyrim-esque soundtrack, and love snowy landscapes in my MMO's. We need more of them at some point.

My Dunmer Templar has found residence in Stormhold. When I'm not performing writs, sorting through my bank, or keeping the area clear of encroaching crocodiles, I'm out helping younger heroes deliver justice to the many world bosses around Shadowfen. I'd rather not invest in property here, and am actively saving up for a home away from my workplace.

Sure, it's a bit damp, and is filled with those ghastly Argonian mud huts, but as the Tribunal wills it, so shall I obey.

Where is it that your character "feels" the most at home?
...that would entirely depend on the charcter, yes?

Leska doesn't really feel at home anywhere, that's the kind of wandering spirit she is.
Kelas feels at home in any nice, big library where there are tons of books to read...
Kes feels at home in Orsinium, of course, and always comes back there...
Laas left his home because he did not feel at home there, and is still searching...
Akar feels at home in coldharbour, but he is kinda insane, so...
Desla feels at home in Summerset, even though she ways actually born elsewhere, but she likes to act all high and elfy...
Andrea feels most at home in Rivenspire, visiting her friends in castle Ravenwatch...
Alak feels at home in Stonefalls and near red mountain, old pyro that he is...
Elsa feels at home on any ship and in any port town, at least the seedier parts of it...
Kera feels at home in clockwork city, since she is a clockwork kitty...
Al'serkande feels at home in the deserts of hammerfell, though he avoids sentinel due to a spotty past there...
Karel feels at home in the forests of skyrim... but also in any pub where the mead flows freely...
Selke feels at home in the forests of valenwood... or any other lush and overgrown forest, really...
Dane feels at home in his home, or would if that one still existed...

And Sekla... is currently in backstory-limbo, the character concept has been transfered to another, and awaiting me getting a new idea of what to do with her...

I just started the Morrowind storyline - even though I've actually had it since it was released - and did find that the crafting zone in Vivec City to be pretty convenient. All in one zone and easy to reach. I don't do a lot of crafting, but I have deconstructed enough items that I can enhance anything I feel is worth the investment.

I've thought about "investing" in one of the homes in Morrowind, but mainly for nostalgic reasons. I remember how I loved owning that piece of property back when Morrowind was released. Of course, it mainly became a stock-house where I just put everything in my inventory I didn't feel like carrying around anymore. Then, it became a display house for all my glass gear I had "acquired" along the way.

I do wish that homes came with more options to display certain items.

For some reason? lol What's not to love about a place made entirely of stone, nestled in the cold, snowy mountains of Skyrim?

It's about as hospitable as a cave.

Side note: I used to own Vlindrel Hall, in Markarth, while playing through Skyrim. I always loved the view when walking out the front door.
