Last character I'll ever make?

So I keep making new characters, really hate the level 1 to 50 grind and keep swearing to myself this is the last character I'll ever make. Just curious if others are in the same boat and keep ending up making new characters.

I have made a lot of characters, current total that I have written down being 34, with 26 deleted ones. About 12-13 of which were level 50.

I've got 14 level 50 characters. I had one leveled to about 25 when I realized I picked the wrong faction so I deleted him and started over. Others are still with me.

On a 2nd account I have five characters that are level three and just hang out holding stuff for me.

I'm kind of glad ESO has such a low limit... I used to play WoW which had a max of 50 characters allowed, and I definitely had to delete a lot of characters over the several years I played....

I've had at least 20 alts maxed to 50 from grinding ( most are long gone now ) and this is why I dont grind anymore, I dont have the energy or motivation

I'll stick to the 4 I have

I play a lot in Kyne campaign (under 50) with my PVP guild. I have created soOooOOo many characters, leveled them to 50 & deleted them. Just since Morrowind I have made & deleted 3 Stam Wardens ;p I have a problem!@#! My current warden is lvl32 & I am looking at deleting the previous warden to make a new one!

I have magicka & stamina crafted sets ready to go for every 10 levels with jewelry sets to go with them. All enchanted with the enchants I like.

I can't imagine deleting an alt that I painfully spent time leveling, collecting lore books, etc.

I now have 20 characters. (Two servers.)

I have so many, I can't even play all of them. LOL.

I've finally told myself that I can't make another character unless I delete one of the ones I already have on my main server.

Started with my main, remade my beta main as a different class and alliance, and eventually I had 6 characters: 1 Templar healer, 1 DK tank and 4 DPS across each class. With 2 characters in each alliance, that was pretty good place to stop. Then I made a throwaway concept character and decided to keep him. My eighth slot was left open for more throwaways. Then they upped the limit to 12. So I made 4 more characters so I could have stamina and magicka DPS versions of each class. Then warden came along so I made 2 more. Then at 15 slots I made 2 more characters to have 1 of each race in DC, a magicka and steam version of each class. That's how I ended up with 15 characters.

I'm an altaholic, but not enough to buy more slots. I have 8 slots, I made 8 characters. Only three of them are 50 so far, though.

(I did delete and create a new one for Summerset, to see the new tutorial.

I keep making the ults and that grind to 50 doing dolmes has been slowly been killing my brain cells off. I wish I had your motivation to stop.

have 11 toons atm, three of them survived from the start of the game two were created as mules still only lvl 13 and 15. the third (max lvl) i play regularly. the other 8 were made to try different things, they all get played from time to time. all my toons have jack of all trades because it comes in handy for events.

they were all planned.

I went through 40+ characters (I know this because I had to keep waiting 24 hours to open up a character deletion spot) in the first few months of the game before I finally chilled and became happy with my characters/builds.

I can now probably do Khenarthi's Roost and Auridon quests with my eyes closed with the amount of times I did them on new characters.

As you can see in my signature, I have "a few" characters. I did not intend to have this many. I expect, but do not want, to have to get a 2nd account at some point to continue my character making madness. For now, I have a couple of spots left I can buy, so I have some time before we get to the point I have to buy another account.

Only have 1 character and for now have no plans to make any others. If I am lucky enough to find a play style I like from the start I usually stick with it. Only MMO I played that I had more than 1 character was LOTRO.

I created 2 new magsorcs in order to complete my 8 toon roster. Before I had 14 toons but deleted 8 of them because they were in the wrong faction and classes. Because of the new Leveling system, I started creating just one for the rewards but created another one to check what changes in the rewards were for the next characters created.

Now I have to train my horses, research gear and get all achievements specially the CW ones which are a **** to complete, not mentioning the DB repeatable one.

I feel compelled to delete my 2 wardens, but then again I am about to take a long break from the game in order to focus on some studies.

I only play 2 characters that I consider to be "the ones".

Every now and again I make another for the sake of trying something out, then delete them later.
I swear, I've leveled over 10 characters to 50, 2 of which are "the ones" that stay, and that doesn't even account for the 30 that didn't make it that far...

Have 8 two of sorc, templar and nb one of other classes.
MagSorc is the main, who do all the quests and lots of pointless achievements. Thought of making her an stamsorc for better mobility. Magplar is second, healer build and go to for hard content.
stamblade is 3rd, replaced magwarden as 3rd build by now, needs an serious rebuild because of nightmother.
Rest is basically cp750 bank alts with maxed out riding. My thought was simple why have stupid bank alts then you can have real builds who might be useful.
it was nice during for the dungeon event and my push cp690 at Christmas, as you could run random normals on lots of characters. Afterward its kind of overkill, might make one more just for the level up awards sometimes.

I can go to create a new or two characters each month BUT .... as i suffer from high pains, and i hate taking pills, i found out that keeping my concentration on a little one is helping a lot. I deleted a lot of them (probably 15 deleted), picked their name again and started again.

For me this is also a way to learn a class more and more.

I have more characters I really need. 2 of each class, both mag and stam versions.
11th was magdk simply cause I don't want to respec attributes and CPs for my "hybrid when tank but stamina when needs to dd" guy, even though now it feels like a waste since he had all weapon/class/etc skills and armor types fully leveled and morphed So far the 11th character levels his mount and I'm not really hyped to level all the things another time. I still haven't even started getting Shadowrider on two wardens, and they were born 7 month ago... If I buy more slots, those will be mostly mules, though I want to have another stamnb of better race; probably won't play and level all those alts though. Mules will be useful enough

I have 8 max level characters (see signature). I only main two of them for PVE questing (my sorc and Templar). The others are 'specialized'. For example, one only steals (and is very good at it), and another is my soon-to-be Grand Master Crafter. A few others are for PVP depending on what play style I feel like at the moment.

I have 1 lvl 50, CP306 character - Redguard Stamina Dragonknight - and for the most part, love playing with it.

From time to time, I feel like refreshing the whole thing, and I created countless versions of stamblades, magdens, magblades, stamdens, sorcerers, templars, what not.

Some of them survived, but most of them ended up in Doomheim.

I don't know the count.

One that matters though, he is rolling forward.

Not sure how to vote as none of the options pertain to me.

Started with a stamblade at release. bow/bow spec sucked and I had ZERO survivability. Stopped playing him around level 37 when I couldn't beat Mannimarco.
Decided to try a Magica character. Since I was having issues with my stam character, I rolled a Templar. Completed the main questline with him. He's now a healer.
Started a magSorc and got bored around level 34. He became my enchanting crafter
decided to give Nightblade another try...this time magica. Created magblade. Leveled to 32. had issues with figher's guild quests. He became my Alchemist.

Skip ahead to One Tamriel:
blew dust off stamblade since I really liked that character. respecced to DW/Bow and finished main questline. He's now my "Main" with 50 in all crafting skills. Played this guy and ran trials. Completed Caldwell's Gold.

Morrowind release:
Start Stamden. Have a blast with him. Leveled to 50 with a buddy together doing Morrowind quests.

Wanted to learn to tank. Created Orc DK. Can't solo for #@$%. Leveled to 50 entirely on dungeon runs with 2 buddies (Healer & DPS). Got bored because I couldn't solo anything.

Read theorycrafting post about a "Sap Tank" Seem interesting. Can tank and solo. Blow dust off of magblade, respec and regear character. Find out I can solo anything. Quest and run dungeons as tank with friends to 50. Complete Mages guild, Fighters guild, and Main story with ease.

None of the characters I play are "unplanned" If I want to try something "new" I'll either create a new character or use an existing one that I don't play. Leveling to 50 is stupid easy.
