Full screen advertising is not appreciated

Once per account per day is fine.
On every single character every day is awful, and just makes me want to click it off without even looking. Bleah.

I can understand they want it large and in charge as your daily log in bonus is planned to be found here, but every single log in is a bit much. Crash to dashboard relog bam. AFK and auto log out relog and bam. Log into 15 characters a day to do writs ……. every single log is a tad overkill.


Then again, if someone misses the log in reward they will complain they were not prompted enough xD :P

give it a week and theyll probably put out a brand new patch that disables the addon though.

hey what do you know. i go to log in last night and download a new update and as soon as i log in, i get the mail notification sound playing once every second, the notification thing in my chat window climbs to over 1500 in just maybe 10 seconds and the framerate tanks from 100 fps to 7 fps into an unplayable slideshow, and it just doesnt stop

and how funny, the first thing i did was disable the no, thank you addon and then i signed in again and what do you know, its running perfect again but now im getting spammed again.

then i went back to the login screen and enabled the addon again and logged in again....same issue as before. so now i have to disable the addon just to make the game playable again. the ONLY feature on that mod i had enabled was Delete Market Announcements.

Now i have to wait for an update either through your game (for god knows how long, because you wont tell us right? maybe if we just deal with getting spammed 10 times in 3 minutes just to collect off our hirelings, we'll just learn to put up with it hey?) or id have to wait for a new update to the addon, which will probably be broken again the next time i have to do a patch update right?

it was working just fine the last time i played. but then i go to do some update and my whole game is pretty much unplayable with that addon now. gee golly what a coincidence! must be a mistake on my end right? not a total accident on your behalf right ZoS? like accidentilly putting spyware on our pc's that we cant get rid of and still be able to launch the game and expecting us to believe that its not actually doing anything, and of course not even being upfront about this or even mentioning a peep about it until people actually discovered what you did and called you out on it.

oops forgot about that right? total accident. well its okay. my eso sub ran out 2 weeks ago and i still havent bought summerset. i might accidentilly forget to. might accidentilly forget about this game. i spent enough money on it and all the dlc and subs and crap that i figure i dont need to be treated like i'm your online piggy bank every time that i log in. i dont deserve to have full screen ads shoved in my face with content i have no interest in buying. i'm a big boy. i can do things myself. if theres anything on the crown store that i might be interest in with a reasonable price tag on it and i feel like it would be of any real benefit to me and not just your bottom dollar, keyword "reasonable", i would mosey on over to the crown store and buy it. i dont need to be reminded 10 times about it within a 3 minute window.

listen i know you really want to hustle off those gambling crates to a bunch of suckers or sell a virtual house or a mount for the price of a full AAA game with a tonne of content, and i know you want to sell me a rather empty expansion just so i can endure the absolutely atrocious jewel crafting grind that you've went out of your way to create. i get it. you want more money. anything to sell a bunch of overpriced crown store accessories or attract new customers while neglecting the old ones. but i really dont appreciate having spam shoved in my face 10 times every 3 minutes when i go to collect mail from all my characters hirelings. the 9th time i get it thrown at me isnt going to make me change my mind any more than the 10th. or the 20th.

so i got rid of that NUISANCE by installing the no, thank you addon. and then did a minor patch update which ended up breaking my game with the addon running. what a coincidence right? Who ever would have seen that coming? did anyone elses addon get broken since the last update or is it just me?

anyways i know im just wasting my time with this but ive had about enough of this crap. i have to go out of my way to disable this nuisance spam and it seems like they went out of their way to try to block that addon off so that i'll still get spammed. this is right after one of the guys puts out a blanket statement about how theyre going to rectify it but cant even be arsed into giving an ETA as to how much longer we can expect to have to put up with this crap.

for all i know, i could be waiting months to get this garbage not thrown in my face 10 times in 3 minutes. progress will be slow when it comes to that right? But not if it actually costs them potential revenue, like when they accidentilly put up that nice house on the crown store for only 1 Crown. oh boy they had that taken care of faster than you can snap your fingers.

whats next? 30 second long crown store advertisements during loading screens? You could at least be honest with us. It goes a long way.
