i don't understand why zenimax thinks that having text and images and stuff right up in our faces is something we want.
i have been asking for years for them to take that stupid messages and place them discretely off to the bottom or top right instead of front and center screen.

with this new advertising now also in front and center screen just makes it even all the more worse.

zenimax, please put advertisements and text messages off to the right and not in the center of the screen. and please make them small sized so it looks technical and makes us want to look at it.
instead of forcing it on us.

just like in morrowind single player, all messages are off to the left or right bottom of screen.
small and discreet.

It's not solved. I shouldn't have to close a Crown Crate window every time I log into a new character. I don't care about their sales or their store and dont need it announced full screen.

I hate this as well, and being on the other side of a company, there ARE policies where you cannot comment on things as a very hard rule.

This was brought in to make money, no other reason.

Advertising trends on the internet are moving away from giant, intrusive ads due to their reduced effectiveness now - but ZOS ran towards it.

The previous one was unintrusive. I could see my character, the game world, and I knew when I got to the end after checking for anything new.

This one keeps cycling, and the in your face nature makes me want to just close it at the beginning as well.

Frankly I'm getting sick of it!! I have ten characters that I load each day to collect mails and do writs on, this getting the huge spam message with each and every login is absolutely ridiculous.

If I want to know what's for sale in the Crown Store I will go to the ESO website, check the emails I get from ZOS, or just simply go up to my top bar and click "Crown Store" I don't want to be spammed with the same pop up every time I log a character into game.

First thing I did today was logging through all my twelve alts to gather their hireling mails. Next thing was logging through all of them again to take them to mournhold and use the chance for a nearly free respec. And then another round of logging through to do crafting writs, which I had forgotten before with all the reskilling.

Every single time I had to close this ad. Seriously, it's so awful, someone PLEASE write an addon for this. It would even be the very first addon I use, I never really felt the need for one before. I'm not even looking at the ad when clicking it away, and the thought alone to do this 24 times a day for the hireling mails alone, not even mentioning relogs for crafting writs, daily dungeons, questing...
