@DPShiro has already messaged ZOS about it in detail they know how it works, they are investigating it. By making a detailed explanation public it will only allow more people to glitch the skin instead of stop it.

Sad thing is, those morons probably spent more time looking for a glitch, than it takes other players to progress through HM. They should still get banned though, exploiting some of the hardest content in game is not acceptable.

also i wouldnt exactly call using the environment to your advantage an exploit, most games encourage that... except eso

The glitch has been first reported about 2/3 weeks ago, with all the players who have been spotted with the skin that way ever since its been known but so far all we know is that zos is "Investigating" it but we have not heard anything for 2/3 weeks and its just geting upsetting and demotivating at this point.
At this point I felt the need to make this public and get more awereness about the issue, guilds are getting fed up seeing all these people getting the skin this way while others have progressed it for weeks/months etc.
What is the status? When is this going to be fixed? What is going to happen with the players who have glitched the trial/skin? @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Finn
Its a freaking game not real life... honestly how is this hurting you at all? I would rather Zenimax focus resources on fixing Lag and nerfing the holy hell out of Night blades and a moderate gutting of sorcs.
Is it really that hard to understand that those are two different problems, signed to two different teams? In the real world, believe it or not, business can focus on two different things without compromising one or the other. Wow, I know, right!
And about drawing the line for exploits. Yeah any exploit is against tos, but we don't sentence people to death for not paying a parking ticket. Any exploit does not warrant the same penalty. Intentionally bugging achievements and then selling that exploit for profit is not the same as standing on a rock to make a boss easier -- which actually makes the fight much slower and barely makes it easier to begin with since you just stand behind that boss and ignore everything anyway.

Ten bucks says it's the same exploiters as the first time. On one of their many purchased accounts. Ten more bucks says there's a guild bank full of gold somewhere, too.

Pretty easy depending on how much is logged, it only skill used to kill boss is snipe its an very obvious oneHow can you even ban people who do this?
How is it possible to detect someone has done this glitch?

How is it possible to detect someone has done this glitch?
And the easiest fix is just to disable the HM achievements and rewards until fixed for real.
An even easier fix is to simply add an dot everywhere outside the boss room once to door is closed assuming the still fight outside the room

Or you know, they could just like add in an invisible wall like what should've been done the first day this was reported and not harm any groups or guilds currently progressing it for real and making them un-able to claim their reward upon a completion...

Yeah going to be hard to sort the legits from the cheesers.

I disagree with calling it an exploit. If someone discovers a safe spot in the environment to attack from, more power to them. I call it fun for them if they enjoy it. People crying about someone else spending their time how they enjoy is weak. Perma-banning someone over it is even more ridiculous. Their loss of $$ though. Doubt the people banned will care longer than a day or so. If we only spent a small fraction of the time judging ourselves that we spent judging others....imagine that. Always some selfish whiny reasoning behind everything. But but but but I...me me me me..I I I....
You are suppose to report it immediately and not exploit it and not tell all your friends how to do it.. These games have a lot of issues where devs missed stuff players find, the exploit is when they continually abuse it secretly afterwards just for loot gains..
It very much does deserve outright bans.

And then turn around and LESSEN those rewards themselves by providing carries xD
I have all but VAS2 skin and I don't wear them, and I prefer Librarian & Volunteer titles *shrugs*
VMOL skin means nothing anymore, vhof skin means more imo, than vas2 given the exploiting, so yeah nevermind skins really.
True, selling trial skins is a bit shady, but I suppose these carries are not cheap? I wonder how much do they cost, because I never asked and never saw it advertised in the zone chat. My guess would be, 2-3mil(which is reasonable price). If so, probably around the same percent of players can afford it as the number of players who can finish it. Maybe it devalues the bragging rights a bit, but not a skin itself.
Depends on the trial. vDSA runs are going for 500k or so, and everything from vMoL onwards is above 2 million gold. Some guilds also charge extra for the dropped gear.
LOL at people wearing the silver skin they bought as if trying to showcase their false skill. That's like buying an Olympic gold medal and wearing it around your neck in public, or buying a black belt and wearing it around your waist in public.
