When did online games become such a huge refuge for degenerates that get offended by literally everything.

I don't understand anything anymore

Because not everyone's the same and some take it more differently than others

Then why 10 years ago everyone would just laugh at these petty actions. I'm only noticing people getting bothered by everything these past couple years. Especially here in North America. It's going backwards here and people are sensitive to everything. I miss working in Europe sometimes. People there don't care about stupid crap, laugh and just live their lives as best they can.

It has been said by some that people laughed 10 years ago because they were not enlightened. Same for women's suffrage, etc.

I don't participate in anything to taunt other players in PvP or PvE . If or when it ever happens to me , which is rare , I just respawn quickly or just be ignoring it with map up if waiting for Rez . I'm sure anything causing distress or overly rude can be reported if you feel the need . I just limit my reporting to very serious concerns to limit flooding support with complaints that I can handle on my own .

How can you even compare woman’s suffrage to a video game unless you are of course trolling.

This game at its core has slavery built in, oppression of certain races and imperialism with races going on conquests to take over lands and enforce its ideas, laws and beliefs and others.

You seem to want to compare in game actions of players to real life actions/feelings but all of these in real life are deemed highly offensive and wrong/illegal yet you still play the game and take no offensive at these parts?

While I'm not terribly bothered by it, some are, and it's stupid and puerile. Not being a jerk isn't difficult. Calling out jerks for behaving like jerks isn't "pc", strange, weak or any other nonsense insult people like to use. Those who can't manage to be civil should be banned in my opinion.

Honestly @Knowledge what is the difference???

Both are a button push. Both are pixels on a screen. Pixel movement is not sexual harrassment, I'm sorry. In a game where the built in emotes like.the kiss my butt one etc etc there are worse than squatting over a player and standing up.

And so you know players get triggered over any emote. I used to use the prayer one / sweeping as I had it done to me and thought it was a sign of respect but you get as much salt for all.the above. Even jumping up and down near the fallen.

People need to get a grip. It's a game. If you get triggered from violence etc dont play a violent game.

Honestly the right to be offended and entitlement has hit an all.time high in this forum in 2018. That triggers me, can we all stop it please as it make me uncomfortable.

The issue here isn't that its a mature game with mature content. You sign up knowing that so you cannot complain there. It is scripted into the game and lore.

Tbagging is not part of the lore and is a person on person interaction, not an npc on npc or npc on person interaction. As such it can be deemed as harassment and be punished with ban time potentially. If it was done in excess or deliberate harassment style.

You mentioned in previous post about banning people over white robes...you do realize ZoS allows us to play AD, an alliance filled with racial supremacists, right? Even Aryenn with her selective racism, having announced she would rather have an elven infant on throne than a human.

Also, comparing past human rights issues to t bagging in a virtual world is total nonsense.

Honestly people, teabagging may be immature but people find it humourous. FYI humour is generally immature. And I'm tired, absolutely tired of moral superiority being given to someone just because they say "i'm offended". Want to tell teabaggers to grow up? Do so, but also tell the snowflakes who want to live in a safe space in a virtual world to grow up too.

Tbagging, personally, I don't find offensive and just get players back by using equally ridiculous emotes when they die.

However, everyone is different. What upsets me may not upset someone else and vice versa. So yes, it should be taken seriously if someone is feeling harrassed. We all deserve to have a good online experience, and if someone is trying to ruin that for somebody else, kick 'em to the curb!

If someone gets upset at a character crouching on their face, why should I or anyone care? Sounds harsh, but seriously, why should anyone care? Keep in mind, we are playing an M rated game where we slaughter masses, we can witness mass infanticide, we have our soul stolen by the God of something I shall not say who literally created vampires doing this thing, in a world full of racism and slavery etc. I could go on. But then someone gets unreasonably upset at something as petty as teabagging we suddenly everyone should be forced to cater to that person??

Aight Captain Obvious, keep your panties on.

Because the majority of people who use it don't just do it as a one-time thing; they do it to specific targetted players because they know it upsets them. To me, that isn't funny. I don't roll like that in-game.

Dont like being targeted in PVP? Dont play PVP. Being targeted is simply the risk of playing PVP. Dont want trolls targetting you because you dont like teabagging? Dont whine to them about being teabagged. "Dont feed the troll" used to be internet 101...

I care about if a player is being reasonable. Being offended does not *automatically* mean the entire MMO community should cater to you. I'm not arguing that teabagging isnt immature, it certainly is, but I greatly oppose the idea people should be *forced* to behave mature or else get banned.

I gotta be honest. If one is REALLY gonna pull the victim card on a PVP thing in a game - they need to maybe step back from PVP/Gaming.

People need to Spine Up and get that this is a game, not reality; and we have a duty of your own self-care.

When I am too annoyed with people in game. I log off.

I do not expect everyone to change for me.

Also, I will not encourage or take part in this kind of mollycoddling in a game.

Believe he/she was referring to people that have real life problems with it

As in: people get RL triggered over being tbagged in game.

I really cannot see someone RL triggered that easy would even go to pvp.
