I continued doing the ones I did (4 in Vvardenfell, 2 for Thieves Guild) and addes 6 crafting writs.

I enjoyed getting extra free stuff.

Luckily I am not addited enough to notice to lovely weather we are having at the moment so I can go outside for a walk with the girlfriend

I dont actively play Events, I just do what I normally do with an added reward.

So no, I didnt feel the event at all. But my Nightblade ist finally Level 50

lucky you. our weather has been awful for far too long. just got snow. again. can't even start the spring garden because inevitable "snow, again?" is just going to kill all the plants at least home is nice and warm and dry. yep, the weather has NOT been helpful.

But I got four pages of wormcult and that's fair.

I need a "lil bit" option. But not for the same reason as most people. I'm over here trying to grind my characters to CP ASAP thanks to the double exp event. I got my StamDK DPS from level 20 to CP in about two days. Luckily, alternating characters, and alliance storylines, help break up the monotony of grinding.

Event has gone on far too long. Feel I have to do dailies through FOMO (Fear Of missing Out). Devs should have simply doubled the drop rate. When event is over I think I'll take a break from the game

What the event showed me is, how ridiculously long it takes to level a new toon, even with the event buff full training gear and Lucianas codex of mastery.
I didn't make a new character for a long time and now I remember why

I feel like it has become a chore to get on and the daily write on 9 different toons. I am also sad that I just have not had the time to take advantage of the XP bonus to level some up.

No, but only because I realized early on that I was going to if I did the number of motifs necessary to earn the WC motifs, so I went and bought them.

I understand why ZOS chose the balance the Worm Cult drop rate around people doing 50 dailies on each character a day, but I preferred the more relaxed festivals where I could be everything during normal gameplay.

Should add, that although the Worm cult motif was a nice touch the drop rate was far too low and sapped the fun right out of it as it became a race against the clock to actually get the motif before the event ends. Hollowjack or Skinchanger has the right sort of drop rate. This was a bridge too far for what should be an event everyone looks forward to.

How could this burn me out?
The only disappointment - I have no time for testing Summerset on PTS.

I did nothing I don't normally do on my chars.

Leveled some alts and capped some other skills I'd ignored for a while to take advantage of the cake buff, but not really in any kind of hardcore way. Boxes were just a bonus.

People complaining that they burnt themselves out is honestly just a big ol' "lol" tbh.

I have not changed the way I play for the event so I'm not getting sick of it yet. It would feel like a chore if I opted to chase dailies so I just do my normal routine and get 15 - 25 a day instead of burning out and pushing for 100+. Even by not grinding I have most of the WC and piles of other motifs filling my bank so keep it coming the event has been awesome.

It didnt burn me out from the game, i got burnt out from the event within 5 days tho, didnt feel i was getting the full potential of the double exp boost.

I'm having a blast.

But I'm not killing myself trying to do as many dailies as I can in a short period of time. I do my writs and then help people with WB dailies if I see someone asking in zone. And my guild has weekly events and we've been working on doing dailies in a group during them (while doing different things each time).

I'm probably going to be able to complete the motifs that are hard to get, and then I can focus on the other ones after the event is over.

PS: Trading with really nice guildies is an added bonus.

Those aren't mutually exclusive, infact it might be a sign of being a bit addicted to the game.

Um, on an unrelated note. When you are logging out and in to each character, that's a good time to stand and stretch a bit.

Grinded out dailies for a while just because of the hype, realized I wasn't having fun doing it, and then went back to how I usually played. I'll still occasionally do some dailies here and there, but I'm not chasing them.

Nice to level alts via the Cyrodiil dailies though. Good XP with the bonus, and the anniversary boxes are a nice drop. Now if only those reward coffers became watered down versions of the anniversary boxes, that would be interesting. Guaranteed item to be sold/deconned with a random chance of a bit of crafting mats or something nice.

OMG I'm so tired. Inspired by stories of how much gold people were making I've stayed up late a couple of nights farming. I still won't make a lot of gold but I'm happy to be pulling some motifs I didn't have yet.

I remember when I was young and getting only three hours of sleep was no big deal.
