Game’s pretty imbalanced in 1v1s. Think through that list, and you’ll see they’re all pretty straightforward and agreeable and only serve to increase build diversity and skillful competition. Our tournaments see diverse winners, minimal stalemates (aside from all magicka tourneys), and a nearly unanimous enthusiasm from members for the current ruleset.

This is the reason why they should be part of the rules just as TK and PS are.

These are just a few details. There should be way more rules imo.

As much as I’d love to ban Impreg, we haven’t for a few reasons. Mainly, it’s difficult to detect, and I don’t implement unenforceable rules. But there are also some matchups in which medium armor needs a big defensive set, and sets like Brass exist which also offer tons of defense and are even more difficult to detect. This is a controversial issue, but in general, the Impreg builds in our tourneys have not been immortal, and our winners have been diverse.

I haven’t banned Reactive because no one has brought it to a tournament before. I don’t implement rules until something has presented itself as an issue in an event. That way, I know I’m not making hasty rules and am making decisions with ample data.

But if you were to show up in Reactive Impreg and stalemate a match, I’d call the stalemate a few minutes in, disqualify you, move the event on to the next match, and make a new rule for next time. You’d leave having made a fool of yourself and causing minimal interruption or frustration. It would be amusing at best and mildly irritating to the guild at worst.

If you would like to criticize our rules or systems, feel free to actually join the guild and participate. Otherwise maybe see you at tonight’s event!

Just to resume your last 4 paragraphs and avoid wasting your time and energy next time you try to make me look like a fool, I had no intend to come with such sets and turtle a fight. I was just pointing it out since Troll King and Pirate Skeleton (which are both defensive and turtling sets) were part of the rules, I would have hope that all the defensive sets would have been mentioned (engine guardian, bloodspawn, wizard's riposte, transmutation, malubeth, etc)

The mist form uptime wouldn't even break 50%.

There are bridges in Wrothgar that are super high up with no railings that would be perfect for dizzy swing fights. Makes tanky armor a non issue.

I like this idea. Straight up American Gladiator style. Tiny platform, no gear, just a level 1 weapon. High enough to die from fall damage.

Thank you for confirming that wearing those sets would be ridiculous, would turtle the fight and would make it pointless.
This is the reason why they should be part of the rules just as TK and PS are.
These are just a few details. There should be way more rules imo.

Agreed and approved. All it takes to get triple GO world first on 3 different classes including a stamDK is to slot mist form on all 10 slots. Beware the mists during that tournament coming up!
