Meant to choose "Bought one 'cause I thought they were account-wide".

I put a lot of effort into how my characters look; by-product of being an RP'er :P

Nope. I can only wear one outfit at a time, and it doesn't take much to change it.

But I have purchased Outfit Change tokens because there's not much else to buy in the Crown Store. This actually ended up being a blessing because one of my outfits would have cost a staggering 11k gold to apply.

That bow alone was 9k gold! :O

If at the time of purchase it was more obvious about the per-character nature of the product, would that have changed your purchasing decision?

It is quite shocking that it isn't. It isn't like these are consumables like horseriding lessons or motifs. Not that I have ever spent a cent on cosmetic items, but still.

I guess this is for the crowd that likes to invoke the price of a latte.

No. At this point, I mostly use the outfit system as a preview for what a particular crafted set will look like.

I still haven’t used my free one, but I’d buy my wife at least 2 if they were account wide. My money is on the table if they ever go that route. We’ll enjoy the game either way.

While I love most things about the outfit system, the per-use cost and the outfit slot pricing are things I consider to be entirely terrible. I'll just stick with the one and only make a new outfit every week.

I liked the concept of the outfit system and having been on PTS I knew well in advance that outfit slots were per-character only, a design choice I disagree with.

I really wanted to tweak my character appearances, so I initially decided on buying a few for the characters I play the most. After seeing the price and buying 2, I didn't feel like buying anymore. It was obvious how quickly the crown cost would add up if I bought any significant amount. I pretty much lost interest in buying more outfit slots after seeing how much my crown balance went down, and put aside my plans on buying a couple more for my characters.

I hope an account-wide outfit slot option becomes available eventually for a reasonable price. That would be more enticing for me to buy.

Yeah, no. I stick to dyed costumes and have no urge to spend almost as much as a real outfit would cost. I also have not used the one freebie we get with each character. (Before anyone says they pay that much for their socks I will just add, good for them.) :)

Haven't bought one nor do I plan to. It is no problem for me to change my characters looks and I do so pretty often. I have plenty of gold so cost isn't an issue.

No. And will not purchase it, because it is too expensive for me.

I do buy crowns, but I have a lot to get with them: I'm fond of costumes, I wish I could collect them all, and I want some epic mounts from Crown Crates. I just can't afford everything.
Also, I hope that one day I'll save my crowns for Imperial upgrade. The price of the upgrade is nice, but... costumes! crates! I always spend all I have and think ""Next month I'll buy Imperial upgrade first".
Also, I would like to buy a banker. I already have a merchant and I'm very satisafied with this purchase.
And - oh, I need all DLCs, as I can't be sure that I will afford ESO+ constantly. I already have the major ones, but lack dungeon DLCs.
So... too much things to buy + a limited amount of crowns I can afford = no outfit slots for crowns.

If they were account-wide, I would definitely buy at least 1 extra slot.

      NO.
I would like to have more slots just to dye the different weapons sets for different content (which ZOS knows well, indeed the free dye interface remained without weapons dye for a reason).

At that price they can keep it, not going to pay even it was half, it should be priced max 250 crowns to be reasonable for me, in that case I would have bought some.

I prefer the costumes. I only use the outfit system to change weapons. I like being a Nightblade with 2 daggers. Doesn't look right when I have a mace in one hand and an axe in the other.

I haven't ruled out buying some, but at the moment it seems unlikely.

I craft my own armour and weapons so I was already able to customise it (although that is a bit more restricted because I don't get to choose the appearance tier or dye weapons) and I have several costumes (mainly non-combat clothing but I've picked up a few armour style ones too). With that plus the free outfit slot I already have quite a few options to customise how my characters look.

So I'd have to want 3 different armour styles (or 2 lower tier ones) on the same character enough to justify spending £8 on it. Not impossible, but not likely either.

No. Don't even really know how to do it. For sure I don't know how people get the different looks I have seen running around.
