Have you purchased outfit slots?

At the current asking price, not a chance I'll buy any. That price should be account wide or if as it is now significantly cheaper.

Part of my problem with it is that I have a comparable product from DCUO.

Their armouries were per character and could do way more than just store a look but they were also way, way cheaper. Hell they even sold the things in multi-packs! I had at least three per character and I had 14 characters. I think when I stopped playing I still had a dozen in my inventory in case I wanted more options for a particular character. Changing looks had no cost at all. Change it as much as you want when you want you've already paid for the armoury and that was good enough.

I accept that ZoS have the right to price their product as they see fit but from comparisons with other games, not just DCUO it comes out simply too expensive for me.

I feel their marketing team has missed the target with this one, this kind of thing should be an impulse buy and the kind of thing where you may already have four outfit slots and want another and can without really thinking about it drop the crowns for an extra slot or two. Then an hour later do it again on a different character. That way they''ll get volume sales, not what they have now.

If the slot were like 300 crowns or so, i would buy few for some characters, but since it costs as much as account wide upgrade.. EG one slot for all but really is jusrt one lousy slot for one character, i dont.

I want more slots, but the price is just stupid for one slot/one character.. Then again i could even pay more for true account wide upgrade which gives one slot for all characters..

Now it just feels, like its compaable to extra character slot which is one time use only so if you delete the character on extra slot, the extra slot is gone. Its stupid.

I think I've bought four to five for four of my characters. Since I use AlphaGear to swap gear, it also swaps outfits, and it's nice to have a different outfit for each type of content.

This is the nice thing about buying Crowns when they're half price... you can afford to splurge for things like this.

Ooops, meant to pick that option as well. I'm not sure I would have gotten it had I known it wasn't account wide, but I'm not upset about it since I got it on my main.

There are plenty of things that I would spend money on in the cash shop. Outfit slots are not one of them though.

Haven't bought one nor do I feel any need to buy one as the one slot works for me. Got tons of cool looking crafted gear that I barely use the one given. Of course I'd gladly take more, but it's not something I'd spend crowns on.

No. At this point, I mostly use the outfit system as a preview for what a particular crafted set will look like.
This is an excelent use. Another nice use is to cover monster set or other ugly gear.
You feel pretty stupid then you realize well into an dungeon you are running you magsorc in medium stealth gear for TG quests.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

That's 24,000-30,000 Crowns. Even with Crown Sale prices, assuming you only bought the 21,000 Crown packs so you got the cheapest conversion possible, you spent around $86-$107 USD on that. That's equivalent to several copies of the game, or buying Summerset twice for the fun of it (three times if it's the digital upgrade). Or, in Crown terms, 2 of the fanciest houses with Crowns potentially left over.

I mean, to each their own, but that seems crazy expensive to me, even at half off.

@ADarklore it's not even really about affording them. I definitely can. I stock up for on crowns like crazy when on sale. It's just I personally don't feel the slots are worth that amount. Obviously you do though, and that's totally cool.

I can buy a costume for 1000 crowns (or less) and use it on all characters. Can even dye it differently for each character. All for 0 gold cost. Outfits though... Welp, that 1000 crowns I'd only one character, and each edit costs more in game gold.

If they go on sale, I'll probably pick a few outfit slots up and use them. At regular price though... Not worth it.

I only ever play one character per game, but even then, 1500 is too much. I might consider it at 500.

No, and I never will until they are made account-wide, for the same price (and previous purchases should be upgraded to account-wide, too). Otherwise, I will absolutely never spend money on outfit slots. This is a general rule-of-thumb for any crown store purchase I ever make: I will NEVER do it if it only affects one character. That's bad business and a slap in the face to customers.

*** put 1 instead of "Bought one 'cause I thought they were account-wide"

Weird thing is: if you buy 10 on lets say Character A, then you cannot but ANY for Character B, C, D, E etc. etc. Like wtaf is that about? I'm hoping it not being account-wide is a bug, but if it was ZoS would've fixed it because $$$$$$

Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

Nope, because they aren't account wide. 1500 crowns for one extra outfit slot on one character is a rip off.
