For one because I have always been a dunmer fancier...

For another because that one is a purely -defensive- union, they are not come together to conquer the world in the name of altmer supremacy, or seize the ruby throne to control all trade, they just want to be left alone by akaviri, covenant or dominion invasions! (and as we know from the lore, will eventually fall apart as soon as those dangers crumble)

Well... Lore-wise I prefer AD, Razum-Dar and Ayrenn are just too awesome and the alliance itself is probably the strongest. After all, it was rebuilt multiple times.
DC has good quests, but I dont really like the king. I think that someone like queen Arzhela would be a better leader.
EP questline is the weakest in my opinion and there's way too many stereotypical drunken nords. Too much comical relief, not enough badassery and memorable characters (except for Naryu, of course!).

Pvp-wise... Well, I started in AD, but I think that this morning cap thing is just dumb, and they seem to be the biggest faction anyway, so I rerolled to DC.

+House Dres actually keeps their khajjit slaves, they only released argonians, and those argonians were enslaved again after the war.
I still cant believe that argonians were so gullible that they actually began to trust dunmers. I'm pretty sure that it will be used against them when they "outlive their usefulness".
Its sad that argonians dont even have a choice. Even if they arent slaves, they still belong to Hist, and Hist doesnt seem like a nice entity. It doesnt care if argonians are killed, enslaved, etc. The only time it did something to help them was during Oblivion crisis but even then it might be just an act of self-preservation.

Because we are mostly outnumbered. Pretty loyal group of players for the most part. Many EPers are old timers who don't FoTM server hope like a lot of DC players. They are willing to work with each other more so than AD.

I look at EP, as my idea faction to be on.

Honestly, for political reasons, I choose the Aldmeri Dominion. Seriously. I love the fact that Queen Aeryn is so willing to prove to her faction that she is there for the people, and will be there on the front lines with them. I also like the fact that she has no real desire to rule over Tamriel, but rather just wants to unite it.

Yet she wants an altmer on the throne, which is, in the eyes of everyone, a desire to rule...
Edit: at least DC and EP will view that, much of the AD may view it as such too

EP here.

I like EP the most because it has nords and it feels like home. The second choice would probably be DC. I only play AD as a part of the world that needs to be played (to get skyshards, achievements and exp) but I don't enjoy it. Elitist high elves, skooma drinking khajiiti and cannibalistic bosmer weirdos... Not my cup of tea.
