If you only want to level, Dolmen groups work?

Dolmen groups like in Alikr or Auridon work for pure leveling, yes, though I'll be honest, I leveled Fighter's Guild on an alt that way and was ready to die of boredom after the 10th dolmen.

Only issue I am slightly upset about is the storage chest. This probably should have been retroactive. I kept hearing there were 8, but could only find 7. My one toon that is mid grind is in the mid 20s. So it's either delete and start over (no way since crafting, horses and bags are maxed) or buy a character slot.

I will chalk this up to moderate annoyance, but I am probably not going to rage about it too hard.

Console users welcome to the joys that is update 17.

This is a good example of why reading the PTS patch notes is a good idea, even though you do not have access to the PTS itself. You can follow in the PTS forums, lend supporting agreements to add weight to comments, make comments yourself and even ask for clarifications.

I do think there should have been an option to allow account wide unlocks to be offered to existing leveled PC's. They neither wanted to add the work to do so or give up the incentive to add a new character to get the items. We have been excellent little cash cows.

We don't get them retroactively? Because I can't find them anywhere on my character that was level 39 before the patch. So I have to waste time on a different character just to get the rewards I should have already earned.

    Great.

how 'should' you have already earned something that wasnt even in the game at the time? you havent earned them since they've been available.

    Deal with it.

I sincerely hope you and all that agree with this type of attitude take your own advice when something negatively affects you as well. So looking forward to throwing this back in you all's face in the future.

So...it seems I won´t be getting this rewards in a while, until I decide to make a new toon, wich won´t happen in a long time. Sad...

not really. it's your choice not to make the new character.

I agree. Reminds me of when my daughter started kindergarten in September. Funny enough she goes to the same school I did and has the same teacher I had. Then I found out that after nap time, each student was given 2 cookies and a chocolate milk. When I was in that class I only got 1 cookie and no chocolate milk. Of course I went back to the school and complained. I believe those extra after nap treats should be retroactive. They disagreed.

So I have been taken to the cleaners by both ZoS and Mrs Bugle. Totally unfair imo

Level rewards are there for NEW players. Most of the rewards are once per account. It is there, quite literally, to encourage more exploration of the game and give new players more insight into how to build their characters. It isn't a 'cash grab'. It's just not for the players that have been around for awhile. If you want the rewards, then level a character.

I definitely understand why ZOS implemented that DOT on people standing still, because I totally could have AFK'ed and the group would have taken care of all the killing for me.

I started leveling a character from level 4 that was created in my 12th slot when Morrowind released. I can see how it is messy to apply retroactively.

At some levels, you get leveled gear. It is not meant to be max level gear. You also choose rewards at some levels, such as what kind of weapon or mats you want. I think the ideal is to give all the collection items to people already at max level, but not all the other stuff to keep it simple.
