It's perfect. If you want to see sexualization, have a look at a game developed in Japan.

Boobs are normal sized. Women aren't vulnerable. Female armour covers the whole body. I hate sexualization in video games, so props to ZOS.

Yes. Why should female armor never cover the entire body? Seems like armor is meant to do just that. Or, are you of the sort where you want bits and bobs hanging out for your entertainment? :)

If so, I'm all for having both kinds but I'm not for having to wear what I consider unrealistic "armor" just so you can err...enjoy it.

...uhm... you -do- know the purpose of "armor" yes?
I mean, what would you prefer...
    lW7ZoJZ.jpg
    :p;)

I for one prefer realism. That means armor that covers stuff on the battlefield - unless there is a good reason to have skimpier armor (like, warm climate) and then it would apply to -both- genders.
In the ice and snow, both genders will be covered in furns and armor.
In the lands of sun and heat, both genders may opt for something more "myrmidon" or "amazon"...
But no "let us leer at the girly bits in a fight". Not unless the male armors also show the dangly bits! (and we get an attack aimed that way too!) :p:D

I think Game is balanced, It's not sexualized or even too humorous (as I voted), It takes all kind of people to make this world, game utilized far less, some characters might say some suggestive lines, but far many people say far suggestive lines in real world too.

TES/ESO has developed a lore and open world, So little deviancy would be there. Areas where I would suggest some improvement (for next game in TES series) would be

    1. that since almost every kind of belief system is incorporated in game, Why Monotheism is not included, It's practiced by more than half of world population, So I would like to suggest (if possible) in next game 'Faith System' Should be added at character creation (Which should include monotheism/Atheism also) with an option to chose it at later stage (if one can't make up his/her mind). It would be difficult as in real world Mythology and History are totally distinguishable, Whereas in Games lore Mythology and History clearly overlaps.

    2. Sometimes both choices won't sit well with players, i.e. a quest where Former slaves ask player to help them kill daughter of their former owner or quest where player can't save a couple from spider daedra. I left both of those quests. Hardest one I completed was where I lied to one reachman to touch something which caused him to die.

When it comes to humor there is one character that is just absolutely brilliant.

It is the one, and only Sir Cadwell.

Never thought I would meet such a cheery guy in Coldharbour.

    Yep. Looking Stylish. B)

It's aaaaal labout Cool/Pretty/Awesome. Why else would we be playing Amazing Epic Fantasy Heroes™?
('realistic' is boring. No matter the gender. Dull, dull, dull medieval tin cans)

edit: and that's even ignoring the physics of the issue. When you're being smacked around by giants wielding tree-trunk clubs? Doesn't matter how 'realistic' or 'heavy' your armor is, the impulse/impact would still pulp your insides and accordion your spine. Might as well be naked for all the good it would do.

edit: but that's neither here nor there, the OP didn't seem to be referring to costumes/outfits/armor, but rather the pretty-tame dialogue & situations ;)

This is a game, a fantasy world on a fantasy planet. If NPCs utter comments, which are offensive and not political correct on earth, what does it matter. There is racism in Tamriel, this is quite normal, there has been slavery in Tamriel, this is mormal too. There is all kind of dislike between the races, even they all live together more or less - and this is as well normal for Tamrielians. This is just not earth - and political correctness does not belong into Tamriel.

There's sex, and there's being sexualised.

In terms of sex, ESO is americanically ;) prudish. The things the OP could come up with as the epitome of depravity, are really quite telling. This game almost alludes to sex somewhere, a few drops in an ocean of content.

Should they change that? I don't really care either way. It's a teen rated game (despite its label), and I have no problems if it stays that way.

In terms of being overly sexualised, there's some things that may fall under that heading but all in all, especially for fantasy stuff, it's really fine.
Except maybe for boob plate.

Oh, and one thing: Not all nudity is sexual.
Like Nords who had their stuff stolen.

In this game, I would have expected Cocky Purple Haired Guy to be like "Why didn't you stack damage shields, sorc lady? L2Play!"

I mean, its not like this game doesn't let my medium armor stam sorc surround themself with a wall of wind for protection, or my magsorc turn into a lightning storm, or vampires turn into mist, or a dragonknight turn scaly or stony and blast spikes out of their back for protection. To say nothing of the alteration spells and enchantments for protection from the other elder scrolls games.

When you bring magical protections into the discussion, armor design doesn't have to follow real world norms any longer.

I really hope this thread was created for the sake of satire or something because things like this is what makes games so damn boring; Especially for a rated M (for MATURE) game.
Sexualised comments, aggressive behavior, violence, 'strong' language, etc all adds to a characters worth and helps distinguish/stand out in a game where NPCs range in the thousands.

Anyone who feels hurt about a comment an NPC stated about a race in the game whether it be sexual, racist, rude, etc will have a tough life if they get so easily hurt from a video game.

I don't think it's overly sexualised and nor do I think the humour is appropriate, it's and adult themed game with childish "that what she said" style humour

But I like the game and it's characters ... That being said ... I prefer borderland for its humour

It's childish and smutty but in a more raw and shocking fashion

Though I will say, I honestly prefer the veiled innuendo over overt sexualisation. I mean I enjoy finding novel uses for emotes as much as anyone, but walking through a town and seeing a Khajit actually getting railed by an Orc is a tad off putting.

Adults is debatable, any any game.
One of my Guild Mates is a 12 year old - Another member is her father.

Of course, in the Game, you can turn Censor On or Off in the options last time I checked.

A game company does not have to cater to people who ignore the age rating on the box. Zos can (and should) assume that everyone who plays their game is ok with the level of adult content described by the rating. It would make no sense to encourage people to ignore the posted rating. As for the 12 year old you described, their father is ok with letting their child play a m rated game.
