Stacking stamina or magicka and ignoring health entirely works in a PVE setting where the tank is taking all the heavy damage and a healer is keeping you alive against constant predictable damage, and even then you have to dodge stuff constantly to stay alive. It doesn't work in a PVP environment where the damage is random, the tank can't hold aggro, the healer is trying to cleanse you of Major Defile, and you decided to show up with no anti-crit gear.
Not even that. One, yes ONE skill slot and they never have to worry about getting ganked from stealth again, PvE health or not.
90% of the opponent we've faced yersterday in Cyrodiil suddenly became totally unskilled, a total slaughter.
Time to l2p again guys.
Even me as new player knows that you don't run around in Cyrodill without Radiant Magelight slotted.Which skill is that?Wreuntzylla wrote: »The majority of people I see complaining in game about gankers have the same common problem.

Why should it reduce damage when damage from sneak against players was removed in Morrowind patch, isn't it?Even me as new player knows that you don't run around in Cyrodill without Radiant Magelight slotted.Which skill is that?Wreuntzylla wrote: »The majority of people I see complaining in game about gankers have the same common problem.

And how does it reduce the damage? After ZoS nerfed the skill, it just prevent the stun from stealth and does not reduce the damage anymore.

If you don't want to be stunned from stealth, slot it.
Did the change only effect PvP areas? Cause I know there's a similar PvE add-on (raid notifier) that I would love if it got neutered as well.

And why is that exactly? Raid-notifier doesn´t have a negative impact against another players gameplay or experience like Miats.
I´m all against Miat, but it´s not comparable with Raid-notifier......

Agreed. raid notifier is actually important in pve because certain bosses do insta kill charge up attacks and since you cant zoom out enough you cant see the in game notification!

It’s actually no different. If you want to legitimize the use by saying the in game cues are not practical - the very same can be said about audio cues in an environment where the sound cuts regularly.
Raid Notifier is just as much cheating as Miat’s (for the record: I think Miat’s isn’t) - the only difference is NPCs don’t complain.
Well, I’m sure the Serpent would complain that her World Shaper gets called out by the addon, just like players did with the heavy attack and channeling notifications Miat’s provided. And if you have no sound issues in Cyro, good for you - many people have.

There is an in game visual queue too in the game now.
Are you really arguing that npc bosses feelings should be accounted for?
incoming gankblade nerf....
incoming gankblade nerf....
lmao. If they nerfed gankblades because an addon is no longer available too those who rely on an addon too play the game well, they're done. What will likely happen is they will buff sorc.
Because lets face it, when they nerf sorc they buff it, when they buff it they buff it. You cannot nerf sorcs and so everyone will suddenly run sorcs AGAIN.
*sigh*
Sorcs are skillful ....hahahahhahaha

Certainly more skillful than sniping an already engaged player from Nikel rooftop.
I dont even play PC and it disgusts me that this app actually got banned. I also understand it did more than just stop ganks but they could have had regulations for it put in.Im am 100% apposed to ganking and fully belive stealth and the class that depends on it holds this game back. Ganking from stealth is such a toxic mechanic.
The app wasn't banned at all. They just removed the ability for mods to notify people of attacks before they get hit with them.
The app still exists and works fine. It just doesn't yell at you and say "HEY THERE'S AN ARROW COMING THIS WAY DODGE IN 3...2...1... NOW!"
Additionally, literally every class can gank from stealth. It's a common ability that everyone has access to. Nightblades simply have a little extra stealth damage and the ability to reenter it during combat.
Regardless if everyone can use stealth or not its still toxic imo. Game would be better without it.
Tanks that heal and deal lots of damage with endless sutain is way more toxic playstyle in my opinion.
