Don't read the patch notes or the forums, people who don't do those things just carry on as normal appreciating the new content they come across and not noticing anything else.

Very happy for the dungeon crowd though! DLC must be exciting for them. I'll keep waiting on the next expansion.

Been so caught up in the Civ 6 expansion, totally forgot this was coming out
but got a cultural victory with the Cree this morning <3
so should potentially be around for it tomorrow

    largely meh tho
couple of dungeons is not enormous appeal to me
and none of the new sets have really piqued my curiosity enough to farm them

    I'm on the fence
I confess I have not read the patch notes this time. Still time though.

Costumes are going to be fun. Expensive but fun.

New dungeons bring mixed feelings. More annoying hard achievements to hunt. More impossible mechanics that are going to take a while to learn and master. More motifs to farm ad nauseum. The personality and the skin are well worth the effort though so there is that.

Changes to block cost, even more? I seem to spend more time tanking than not and this worries me.

Chests. Okay, those are handy I guess. Maybe I'll be ale to free a mule.

New houses, probably not going to invest there.

AoE cap removal. Maybe now we'll be able to finally kill those annoying tightly packed trains that do nothing but go round and round and round inside a keep. Or maybe they'll become even worse.

Leveling rewards. Eh. I'll have a reason to level my latest alt to get the storage chest and that's it.

The dead horse looks good though, but I don't think I'll invest in it for now. So I'm on the fence on this one.

Honestly most of the people I know who do dungeons with stopped after the sustain changes, and the few remaining stopped after the announcement of the recent tank changes.

Personally I don't really like the direction the DLC has been going with doing nothing but dungeon packs. I want meatier stuff like Orsinium, Thieves Guild, or Dark Brotherhood. Something with actual content and not just another pledge dungeon to add to the list.

The rest of Update 17 looks good though, so there's that.

Yay another long winded dungeon that I don't want to support so won't buy, yet I'll be forced to run because I have eso plus. They need to find a way to opt out for those of us who really don't want the dungeon dlc. I really don't like paying for forced participation.
I was not into outfitting but having non red weapons sounds kind of appealing and I will give it a go. Morrowind plans seem like the most interesting thing to me. But even then I'm left thinking 9 months later and twice the price for an item that should have been inc from morrowind start and I've already paid for by buying the chapter - the annoyance at knowing that does sort of detract from any excitement.
So storage seems like the best part I guess. Even then I was not at max but I can see me now hoarding more so that's good.

Well, I am not interested in dungeon DLCs at all.

Level up rewards, hm, I doubt that it will be useful stuff and mist likely just clutter my inventory with stuff, I do neither want nor need.

Skill advisor, well, I am perfectly capable of making my own mistakes and learn from them and the last I would want is to be like anyone else. So this feature can hopefully be disabled.

I am not interested into being competitive, the whole combat system is far too twitchy for me and when I hear "rotation" and "animation canceling" within a roleplaying game, I can just shake my head - I am here for the look and feel and that needs complete animations and immersion, so the whole PvP thing is not for me - far too flashy particle spectacle and too twitchy.

Outfit system - yeah, that's eventually something for me, if ZOS is not ruining the experience by greedy pricing. But as I know them so far, they will overprice it to sell their tokens and then the whole thing is a lot less fun and eventually even annoying.

so what is left - some nerfs - oh how I love nerfs, can't wait for getting all the fun being nerfed - so this is meh too.

hm, server improvements would be nice to have - like holding a connection for longer than 20 minutes, that I can do a quest uninterrupted. Or not being disconnected, just because I sit down in an inn to listen to a singer - inactivity disconnect, I cannot even enjoy the atmosphere in an inn in peace, no I have to be interrupted by stupid requirements to move around like a rabbit.

So maybe, just maybe, I should have chosen "not at all" - there is not much in it for me.

I'm a bit worried but a little excited too
Not that excited for outfits. Will make 1 per toon and be done.
Stam changes likely going to be awful, time to respec again.
Housing storage is ok, but I'd rather have armor manequins and display weapons.
Motif drop rates lowered to what now?
Some fixes good. For the past 2 weeks I've been inf loading screend multiple times per day and half my commands don't register. Hopefully the update fixes that... again....for like the 10th time.

Yeah, I'm not excited. I love a lot about this game, but the grind is getting old again. Plus I don't have enough IRL money to make ZOS give me good stuff. It's not a good feeling.

    I don't care
I don't enjoy dungeons in this game so the main goal of the DLC doesn't interest me. The outfit system will be nice but then I hear it will be expensive, I'm still trying to save enough gold to buy one of those nice large homes so I won't be able to use the outfit system for now lol.

I was hoping for a new land to explore and quest in, that's what I always look forward to the most in a DLC.

ZOS really did a wonderful job with the thieves guild and dark brotherhood DLCs, the scenarios and the repeat quests are always fun and keeps me busy. Wish we had more stuff like that.

    I'm not pleased at all
No more uncracked geode boxes per character per day
Hide helmet no longer in settings and doesn't work on polymorphs
    CC immunity changes
    API changes
    Some more nerfs
New leveling rewards are not retroactive/no free character slot
Removal of reliable x32 client (I always had and still have lot of problems with x64 client - long loading times and lot of crashes on startup)
2 more hard dungeons as "dlc"

Only good thing this update brings for me is house storage. Outfitting systems is rather nice, but costs gold together with requirement of motif knowledge; and can't hide other parts except helmet so far.
