Dueling is dead on PC EU and it'll be a hard task to revive any form of competitive dueling. Too many egos overflowing right now. I think I've seen 5 self proclaimed "best dueler eu" just this month. And then we have people like blobs who are salty they're washed up shadows of what they used to be and keep shutting down any idea of reviving the EU duel scene.
Unless someone comes and enforces rules on some popular tournament just like Kena did with legend we'll go nowhere. And who is there on EU to do that? Dusk? He only plays 2 classes, both filled up to the neck with cancer. Legendary mage? Lol. Blobs? Drama queen of EU, anything he'd create will probably end up in banning half the server from joining under the pretext that they're "looking for attention". I can't think of any other "guild leaders" that have/had guilds big enough (or not ***) to promote such event.
I wish we could revive it, but we just can't.
... Dude i was joking about drama being the eso end game. The drama in this thread reminded me of the guild chats... Didnt mean anything else than that.
And all 3 of those you mentioned are original gangsters. Blobs is a really nice guy if you act like a human being. Many can attest to that. Maybe youre the problem? Dont know how to be respectful towards other people without losing integrity yourself or whats your problem?
There are few people who can run a dueling guild like Dusk did. And mage... had his good moments and bad moments, like everyone else.
The thing people dont understand is, it's not easy running things or being well known/popular.
Maybe you've never experienced either and thats why your talking smack.2 -

✭✭Dueling deserves to die anyways. As the game is currently, dueling is simply not competitive and does not, in most cases, require a great amount of skill. I mean just look at how many "top tier" duellists perform in openworld, they either join a "smallscale" group or they get rekt. I am of the firm conviction that 1vXing or solo play is the only show of skill in pvp at the moment. This is because in such a setting success is not solely dependant on a fluid rotation but also on positioning, focusing, etc. Also in outnumbered fights, many of the debuff-based builds are less effective, since in 1vXing it is burst that is required to kill opponents and not cancer. I think @Fel would agree with me on this and because he too is a solo player, he has my begrudging respect ^^.

lmfao, yeah and such a shame the person who killed me couldnt kill an average dueler two months before that. People suddenly got OP from nowhere and could kill people they couldnt xv1 two months before that. That people still bring this up against me is amazing. I quit dueling all together, i go join ZS and then come back to join a dueling tournament and get killed in a patch where i know nothing about the best setups or approaches. But whatever i am a worthless player.

I've never seen factions cooperate better than when they're chasing/tbagging him, it's like they're not red or yellow anymore. They're of the same kind!2 -

No but really, lately I've begun to feel sorry/sympathy for fel. I can safely say that my hatred towards him is long gone. I actually feel like he's getting harassed in game more than he actually harasses others lol.0 -

i rather get harassed by every single Player in cryrodiil and having some nice and interesting pvp, than having 50% of the enemies not even trying to fight me and just Standing around and watchingNo but really, lately I've begun to feel sorry/sympathy for fel. I can safely say that my hatred towards him is long gone. I actually feel like he's getting harassed in game more than he actually harasses others lol.
the monotonic pvp is already boring enough and just looking at the threads after a new update dont really give any incentive to log on again

you did not understand the Point of what i was saying. its rarely the case that ppl are not chasing me. and i prefer getting chased and having some nice Action instead of not even getting attacked by the majority of enemies.Just like I hate hitting an unkillable tank forever, I don't see the point in chasing an ever cloaking nightblade.
