And yes, I do like MLP. Fight me.
Sparkling?.. A sound of chimes?.. 146% lore friendly, well done!!!
Now I wait for a Nyan Cat mount (with Nyan Cat sound please!).

I made a comment on something I WAS interested in. Its called feedback. Dont like it? Too bad.
I prefer a lion between my legs.
Can somebody tell me why the front legs look like the were sawed off at the shin and glued together with the rope? Also those braids are hilarious.
For clarification take a look at @DiNanna63 picture:

Oh, cmon. I head canon it as a simple glamor my characters arch mage father created for his daughter’s birthday pony. Now she and the horse are all grown up, and, lo and behold, the sparkle spell passed on to the horse’s offspring, stunning everyone at the Mage’s Guild, and launching a whole new area of reasearch into hereditary effects of alteration and illusion magic.

Head canon? I guess my feeling is that if I have to put myself into a special mindset to spend $35 on a mount, maybe I am trying too hard to buy it.
For the Sparkle Horse mount, I just think the effects are over the top. It is bling where no bling was needed. That has stopped me from buying it before I even get to the "head canon" about why it is sparkling, and tinkling, in the first place.
On that last subject, I guess that now that I think about it, what is the sparkling and tinkling supposed to represent? What other things in the game sparkle and tinkle like this? I am drawing a blank. Anyone help?
With no other insight... If I had to guess, I would think Marketing is targeting a specific player demographic (of which I am not part of) for no other reason than to target that demographic. So, I guess that if someone sees the horse and thinks, "oooooh! sparkles!" and runs to buy it, target acquired, mission accomplished. I don't mind them targeting demographics, but if that is all they are doing, and we have to "head canon" around it, I'd prefer they do something else.

Yup. That is what I mean when I use the term "head canon". A thought exercise to create a place in "reality" for something that has no place. That blurb puts less effort into it than @Appleblade did, so I would be more inclined to use Appleblade's.
