It's expensive but at least very detailed, nicely done. The sound is awesome xD it's present in the log interface too, when you click on the character with that horse there is the sparkling sound xD

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the whitegold pony pet also has the same sparkle effect. The sparkles seem to come from the Whitegold Tower aspect. I don't know what exactly about the whitegold thing would cause the sparkles, though

Doubtful, but the horn alone will cause enough rumbles of discontent and immature images of ponies.

Also, I can't wait to ride my sparkling pony all over Tamriel *sprinkles sparkly stuff everywhere*

Also the capacity bags are nice, it has visible upgrades.
And the eyes are glittering, like jewels, I've noticed in the log screen because of the light, so yes, nice details.

Sparkles is where you draw the line? That's too much? Not fire horses or any of the other stuff they've released? Is this an immersion problem or because you're afraid of anything that might be considered cutesy or feminine?

Was wondering same. How is that (sparkles) any crazier than flames or glowy blue stuff?

For me, it is not any different from the atronach and dro'Mothra mounts. I don't own any of those mounts.

This is, however, a mount that I would have purchased if the sparkles were not there.

I'm having more problem with the tack than the sparkles. They're actually nothing like as OMG LOOK AT ME as some of the other mounts. I don't have any of those either. I did end up with a frost mare in a freebie box somehow. Don't much use her either.

    But that tack...

I came to make a thread pleading for common mounts (referencing an in-game book http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:A_Call_for_Common_Hair) but then I saw this thread so I posted here.

"The nobles of our fair city have gone mad for ornate and over-styled [mounts]. Have they nothing better to do than to ape the witless [Elaborate Mount Fancier], who is enamored of elaborate [mounts]?" xD

The mount doesn't say it is enchanted or anything so why the sparkles? I mean, it looks nice otherwise but why have the feeling of Elder Scrolls diminished by having sparkly mounts? The rest of the mounts are already a bit over the top but there are attempts to explain why or kinda fit it in. Having a sparkly horse come out of breeding is kinda...odd.

i think charging 3500 crowns in itself shows they have lost their minds

Agreed. 3500 crowns for a mount is an absurd price. To put that absurdity into perspective, collectors editions of DLCs typically sell for 4000-5000 crowns and those include the DLC, a mount and at least one other item.

I’d say ZOS is price gouging here but evidently some players feel differently.

Well, they've sold more expensive mounts before, so this one isn't pushing any upper limits. That's likely why there's not many complaints.

Also, mounts are luxury/cosmetic items with no actual gameplay effect. So them "gouging" on that is perfectly fine to me. As long as they keep reasonable prices for actual game content like DLC.

(I don't buy $300 designer "pre-ripped" jeans or $500k cars you can barely drive on normal roads IRL, but I don't protest against them either.)

What's "diminishing" about sparkles? Or fire? Or whatever that blue stuff is (Oblivion snot :D ) Or for that matter the metallic critters. This really is a "to each their own" sort of thing. Isn't the sparkly bit to do with the White Tower?

I think it's a game setting that makes the legs look messed up like that. I forget which one. But the legs on my horse do not look like that.

Well, normal horses do not sparkle. If the description was altered to say that it was enchanted to look fancy for a king's daughter it would still be a bit of a "wut" but it would be a "erm ok fair enough" wut.

Nor do they glow blue, sprout flames etc. Nor do critters normally run about in skeleton form.

It's magic! Just "pretty magic" instead of "badass magic" this time 'round.

ETA: Just logged in and checked other prices. Kagouti Fabricant is 3000. Let's face it, ALL these are vanity mounts and thus the prices are going to be what ZMax thinks they can get. Judging by the amount of flaming or blue or clanky mounts I see, they're getting a LOT. Heh.

So none of you have ever owned a horse and put twinkle toes on it? (we did hoof black and glitter years ago ) you can get sparkle dust too - way more fun than barbie. there's heap of sparkly horse products. Ain't no fire ones though.( but there is I choose you rapidash! :D )

Seriously it's the most normal I by glitter by the kilo for work. my bengal cat knocked half a cup on my ragdoll cat. Despite washing him.He was running about leaving a sparkly trail like that for a month ( he even had sparkle poop) and when they fought there would be a little glitter cloud.
