I'd be willing to pay the normal skin or polymorph price for it. No more than 3k. Anything more is just ganking the customer basically.

Maybe this has been said before, but the issue is not the way vampires look. The issue is that vampire is so OP. Every type of character can benefit from being a vampire and there is nearly zero downside from being one. The fire damage is a joke. To me Vampire should be something that modifies the way the character plays, much like werewolf does. It should not be for everyone.

Literally every part of this is wrong or just your opinion. Vampires are not OP. If they were, you'd see more. My NB tank would gain next to nothing from being a vampire, and lose in several respects, for example. And that last part especially: Vampires change how you build, how you play; werewolves make literally no difference unless you slot the ultimate, and even then you could just use it for the stamina recovery and never transform. Vampire is not for everyone, but there is literally no downside to being a werewolf.

Im sorry, everything I said was wrong? Lets see here:
    1. Pretty much every magicka and some stamina DPS Builds are vampire because of the passives. So much for not OP.
    2. Your NB Tank would gain next to nothing from vampire because for tanks and healers, the fire dmg is a MUCH bigger downside then they would benefit from the mag and stam regeneration, they normally have enough of that already.
    3. Vampires DONT change how you build and how you play, not even a little bit. Every DPS build out there atm works without being vampire, but it benefits from the regenerations, so people use it. 10% more magicka regen is a huge deal when trying to do as much damage as possible in a limited timeframe.
    4. There maybe is no downside to being a werewolf, but not a big upside either, not even having the ultimate slotted for 15% more stam regen. Vampire already gives 10% for practically free, and you can use an ultimate you need. So most people go with vampire instead, because having neither of those is the probably biggest downside atm. And im totally for a change to that, that being a normal mortal isnt the biggest boon in the game anymore.

    1. Not even close to being true
    2. That was my point
    3. At least a little bit
    4. Again, that was my point

I totally agree that there's no reason to not be a werewolf or vampire, and that's kinda lame. I do however disagree that vampirism is as OP, or as widespread as you claim - as you yourself mentioned, tanks get some nasty downsides with vampirism, and that applies to really anyone who likes survivability - so all PVPers and all solo players and most other people. Vampirism has definite benefits, but also definite downsides that, while you may be able to dismiss them, affect a lot of other players. Anyone who wants to use vampirism has to account for that, whether they change their playstyle or adjust their stats. Werewolf, you literally don't need to even consider it. This is a likely reasoning for the lack of vampires seen round Tamriel, I think, but if vampires were as widespread as you say, I'd see more than one every few times I visit Rawl'kha, among the hundreds of players milling about and moving through. If they were more common, I'd probably lend more credence to your claim that vampires are OP, maybe even consider it as more factual than simple opinion.

A few months ago, almost everyone was vampire. I havent played for weeks, but it doesent seem like the count in vampirism changed that much in the time i was back now. But maybe theire just all in Mournhold, were iam the entire time.

And to vampirism changes your playstyle, again, no. Not even a little bit. If youre vampire or not does absolutley dig diddly if youre DPS except more dmg. Normally you dont even care about more firedmg, and you most certanly dont take any vampire skills in a DPS-Build. But let me ask, what do you think changes the way you play about being a vampire? Because i switched since i started the game a few years ago, between vampire and not vampire, and tested a lot of things with it, and the only things that changed were the 10% regenerations and the sneaking speed, which you dont care about as a DPS either. Nothing else.

Just use a skin, all of them hide vampirism. IMO the scalecaller one is the best for this purpose, since it makes you look normal again with some glowing tattoos.

Edit: Ok scalecaller isn't quite "normal" it is a little pale. I had only tried it on a light skinned character.

All I want is my khajiit's gorram fur to stay the same color. Hair stays the same, for both khajiit and others, why does fur color change? It's lazy programming that they just use a cover-all skin texture for vampires.

I have a badarse looking khajiit nightblade, with black fur, black hair, and red eyes/face markings. He looks far more sinister right now than he would if I turned him into a vampire, because his hair would stay black but he'd have bleached white fur and pale eyes and his face markings would fade. Who the hell thought that was a good idea?

Unfortunately all the Skins currently available do NOT restore your vampire to their normal appearance, which is what most people want. A toggle for the vamp skin, just like the "hide helmet" which has become the "no hat" option in your collections tab would be ideal and relatively easy to implement. I wish I knew why Zeni keeps refusing to do it or even comment on it. @ZOS_GinaBruno ???

My guess would be that Eso isnt important enough for Zos to work on properly.
Bring new DLCs (people ofc have to pay for) here and there, bring something like the transmog system after years, and people will stay anyways and spend money. They have no competition, so they can work as slow and bad as they want, we wont go anywhere soon.

But the transmog system at least gave me hope that they care at least still a little bit, and MAYBE hear us someday on all the things we need. Not only want, need!

You didn't make my choice an option so I didn't vote.

However, I don't really like the idea that to change my character to a vampire that its skin color changes at all.

I find it "colorist" that I was a nice deep well toned dark brown and now my toon is white.

    Why?

Oh well to get these extra abilities you have to be white, not dark brown.

    How colorist is that?!?!

You aren't allowed to have the same abilities the white folks are.

What I would love to see is a revamp (no pun intended) of the vampire line so that the appearance stages are reversed, it required feeding to advance/maintain ranks, and using skills and time reduced ranks. It always bothered me that feeding made you weaker. A well fed vampire should be stronger and be able to maintain a more normal appearance. Rank 4 would be the strongest and least hideous while rank 1 would be weak and monstrous.

That's the problem. And because it's "just a cosmetic" issue it's soooo low down on the totem pole of importance that I feel like they literally don't give it any thought. Which kinda let's me know the game must be doing just fine financially when I consider how much they'd make if they offered this through the crown store and they still keep NOT doing it.

Yes, i dont get the part about the money either. They would make so much offering something like this, and they probably dont even think about it atm. Maybe the marketing needs to get some people fired for being stupid.

Stage 1 is fine but vamps should get uglier faster. Stage 4 should be the half bat fiends that they are in Skyrim.

If you want to play a vampire, play a vampire but don't expect a supermodel with red eyes with all the powers just because you want stage 4 buffs.

    How 'bout no?

I'll never understand the position of people who would try to deny others the ability to customize their playing experience In a Role Playing Game with options (which are by definition 100% optional and not forced on anyone). Vampirism in Oblivion and Skyrim didn't make you look like a meth addict so why should we look like that in ESO when we have lore breaking polymorphs, outfits, and costumes? I suppose you're against the outfit designer as well because you can't tell if I have heavy, medium, or light armor on my toon?

A skin that hide vampirism fit in that criteria, you know that right(?)
