Can't load character on the PTS

I get to the character selection screen and try to load my character. But it gets stuck on the load screen into the zone that I'm loading into. After a while, the load times out and I'm kicked to the login screen.
As I recall, a similar (same?) issue plagued the initial CwC PTS as well.

I can load videos on Youtube, go to Facebook, and all other websites, also did a speedtest and everything is fine.2 -

Only existing characters. Templates are fine. There are also some existing characters (mostly sub-50 ones, though some level 50 ones too) that are fine as well.
This is so far identical to what happened at the start of the Update 16 PTS: Most level 50 characters could not load, most sub-50 characters and a few level 50 characters could load, and templates are unaffected. Agreed, I don't have any characters below level 50 and have tried all 10 of my characters with no luck, so it must just be some players who are able to get a character to load in. :-(
