I'm guessing you didn't pay for much of a sub because the first year was 500 for owning the game and 100 for every month subbed. (1700 total iirc) In addition to any current sub giving you the equivalent crown stipend. I got 6200 crowns just from when they went to buy to play...

Vet ranks were *** awful and they needed to go. The conversion felt pretty solid from vr to CP. And fact they staggered it instead of releasing it all at once was the best thing they could have done.

The provisioning mats they made vendor trash was less than 20% of the used materials. So again, don't understand your complaint there.

Personally, I thought it was crazy for anyone to level up more than one horse per character.. so that was a much needed change as well.

I will agree this does seem like a shot in the foot as I have 7 lvl 50s and just recently leveled two of them up. However, the examples you gave are on no way representative of how *** up the lack of compensation is this time around.

It's just a nice little "good job" reward, but keep in mind those (and other collectible-type things) are per account, not per character. The mount included in the Level Up Advisor is just your basic brown horse.

Cheap mounts are cheap mounts, mats are mats, but crown crates are serious. If you're giving out crates for leveling up characters, but not for people who've already done that, this is a big deal.

And this would be a gamebreaker for me.
While crown crates are the bane of my existence in this game, and seldom hold anything valuable (nix hounds anyone?) there are two things wrong with this:
1) they CAN hold beneficial items, or potentially exclusive rewards, and we players who've leveled up multiple times won't be retroactively given them, which is grossly unfair as it's a normally purchased item (with REAL money).
2) they're addicting despite their stupidity, and as someone else above mentioned, this is a sly way to get people to buy them. ESPECIALLY if they tweak it to slip in something rare into the free leveling up one (don't be surprised when it occurs).

And why should new characters get a free mount when literally all of us at some point had to throw down in game gold or real cash on them? Yea, yea, it's "only 10k" I know, but it's the principal and they're setting a new precedent here to cater to new players, without even bothering to acknowledge any of us who've already done the grinds.

I'm fine with giving tips, when I started playing years ago I didn't have a full handle on things, and I still learn new things years later. But giving away some of the items they're giving away, regardless of their in game value, and then not retroactively offering the same things to longtime users, or for that matter offering us nothing at all, is a bit of a slap to the face to us.

The biggest thing, is that yes, it's a slick way to get people to either buy character slots, crown crates, or both. And it disgusts me a little bit.

Also, this is like 3 or 4 years too little too late.

What is your point? Is this suppose to be a knock on Zenimax? If anything you are just nocking yourself down. After all you are saying Zenimax can do anything and you will stick around. So for someone I believe is not so happy since you have gotten "screwed" more than once, you seem to take what ever Zenimax gives.

So why are you sticking around when you claim that Zeminax is not making the game for you? Find a game that you will enjoy and be happy.

Because I like the game.

These are the forums... they are kind of designed to give our feedback. So when I see something I dislike I am not going to hold back my opinions. The product they sell is good, I just question some of their choices regarding their treatment of loyal customers.

Why should I shutup or get out? Are you incapable of seeing faults in games you enjoy? Nothing is perfect, and I give ZOS credit when its due, if I start to not enjoy the game I wont be on these forums anymore.

Your comment didn't sound like feedback but a little tantrum. I didn't read this as you liked the game. Maybe rephrasing it would make it more like feed back instead of a tantrum. So that is why I asked why you stick around. I apologize if you think I am attacking you. I wasn't just an honest question.

As for giving your opinion, you are correct. I just find it funny when people give opinions for games they don't like. Now I see you like the game, I see why you stick around. I never told you to leave did I? I said find a game that makes you happy. ESO makes you happy. Thing is, your post didn't seem you were happy with ESO.

Wait a min...will soulshriven no longer be given after cadwell sliver. Though either way this was probably a bad reward to be given out on this without backtracking for existing users.

They announced that the levelup award is the Prisoner's Motif, and the Soul Shriven one is still the Cadwell's Silver award.

If there is a potential for about 3 - 4 crown crates from levelling a toon. We should get at least 1 for each fully levelled toon, if not for levelling, at least a loyalty reward. Not too phased about really though, it'd probably just be 5 potions and a pointy stick.
