So in the news section ZoS talks about this update and dropped this lil nugget: "With the Level Up Advisor, every time one of your characters gains a level, you will receive gameplay tips and useful rewards. These rewards will include gold, crafting materials, and consumables, and certain key leveling milestones will even reward you with a new mount or a Crown Crate!"
So my question is, what about us who already have have a fully leveled toon or 2 or 3 or 12 fully leveled toons? Do we just miss out on the gold, mounts, crown crates, and other rewards?
How exactly does this work, will a new player be able to collect all the rewards on his first character, and every preceeding character while us veterens just get screwed for having already leveled 1,2,5,12 characters?
I would really hope that whatever rewards are retro-activley rewarded to already fully leveled toons when this update comes out.

We'll have a full list of the milestone rewards listed in the PTS patch notes for visibility.
So the crown crates and mounts will only be available if you level a new character? How are they helpful for leveling?

It's just a nice little "good job" reward, but keep in mind those (and other collectible-type things) are per account, not per character. The mount included in the Level Up Advisor is just your basic brown horse.
I'm actually a little disappointed that they're just going to give new players a horse. One of the first big accomplishments in the game is saving enough to buy your first mount. Now it's just a participation trophy. Meh.
A player can install the game and buy a mount immediately from the crown store without earning the gold in game.
Players can by packs that give mounts (ie imperial pack)
10K seems like nothing to those of us that have played for a while but it is an undaunting amount to a new player on a new account getting 20-40 gold per quest. Plenty of other accomplishments to be had in the game. I dont have a problem with them giving the basic mount to a new player/character.

this is more lowering the ceiling and raising the floor crap that zos want- soon they l make it possible to get to cp690 in a week. seriously not happy with this pandering to new players and not enough looking out for those end gamers that have beeen in it since 2014. do we need to give them a pet every time they go up a alevel now?
Looks like it's well done.
There's some basic builds so we will see less drama on pugs and new players being scum in many different words. What is nice there's a build for dps stamina or Magicka, tank, and healer. So a step forward away from dragon knight only tank world, and Templar only healer mindset for incoming populace.
Though what's the point then showing class icons in guild roster instead of role now? Maybe it's time to fix it. @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_RichLambert @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

Not having a class icon won't solve the fact that people in raid groups can tell you don't have breath of life or ritual by simply observing the skills used.

We either way development is going to diversity. So yes icons seem outdated.
Really though I would simply like easier way to find tanks.

You can find em because they are very few that exist, well at least on pc na that is. Everyone wants to dps no one wants to heal or tank. Another thing diversity exists it's just that some very smart number crunchers have calculated the small or large differences if these things don't matter to you or other ppl or the ppl they run with then there's no issue. But the way game is designed promotes specific classes to being more optimal at certain roles. The developers themselves have stated this as a thing they consciously do, but keep the difference minimal.

It depends on what kind of crown crates will be given for the levelling. If they are a special one tailored specifically levelling characters, you are right. If they are normal ones with the possibility of apex rewards...

We see that you have just earned your 742 CP. You have exceeded the maximum level established, we have noticed that your build while semi-functional is well utter crap the level advisor recommends you delete this toon and start over you noob.

Okay fine still think role icon would not hurt or be hard to do. Just copy and paste ones from group finder.
Even if it is one or two crates, what does it matter? It's not like they're _preventing_ existing players from creating a new toon if you really want a new crate (and unlike the new player, a vet could actually wait until a suitable crown crate season they want a free crate for). Similarly, not like this is going to make up for the multiple weekends of free crates we've received to date.Ydrisselle wrote: »Players that have been around awhile and have max character don't need leveling rewards anyway, so what is with all the crying?
