Why Do Guild Dues Exist?

✭✭✭✭✭ZOS has decided that trade guilds vying for the best spots is a needed way to remove gold from the game.
I would rather have one universal vendor (per Zone) and have a higher number of guilds that can have a store there. Searching one vendor would search all those guilds. No where near a universal auction house but much better than what we have now.1 -

✭✭✭What? I'm on bbc1 and bbc2 and there are no dues at all and the guild house is absolutely amazing and the officers make minimum 2 really awesome fun events per week and are super helpful besides! These are 2 of the best traders in NA with kiosks in Rawl Kha and Mournhold.
