Only time I will is if they are polite and message to say they’re trying to craft, shard hunt, quest, etc. I only let that off because imo those activities have no place in a pvp zone with the way Cyrodiil is set up.

    All the time!
I spare friends, guildies, people I have killed a few times recently, low levels and pretty much anyone with 33k plus health

On other days I kill everything I see, guess it is how I feel...also seeing a juicy target that could catch a 16-19k incap is hard to resist

I agree, it's a pain to have to go there especially for skyshards, if you want them all, you have zero choice.
    Hoping for more playable races.

As someone that only goes into the sewers to farm tel var off enemies, I consider gankers as the scum of ESO. It doesn't take skill to explode damage on a target that doesn't know you're there, and that 2 seconds erases hours of grinding over time.
It absolutely takes skill. The right gear/build/skills. You have to pick your spots carefully.

Gankers are a part of any MMO. Jumping into a pvp area? Be prepared for it with some armor/shields/sustain.

Otherwise why have any pvp at all? Let's just not kill anyone.

Or don't knock it until you try it. The builds are very fun.

I hate this game's PVP with a burning passion and even I know how to set up a ganker build. That doesn't take skill. Picking your spot? You mean just following the target long enough to see if they're alone?

Obviously if Zenimax had given us a way to get Tel Var without entering a PVP area I would be there instead. They gave us no choice.

I used Tel Var to get my Galerion's Revenge set for my magicka NB (And that set probably isn't the only one that's useful outside of PVP), and it's also used for your alliance's style material (which is no longer an issue with the willpower, endurance, and agility sets), and prismatic runes.

Gankers usually give up if they can't take down my templar in around 5 seconds. I love those who then run and try to vanish, just like we don't have flares.

I pity on gankers. Spending all that time hidden, waiting for an easy kill, doing something that takes little to no skill at all (it's not a duel). It's like winning a 5yo kid playing chess. You must have had a really bad day if you need this kind of gratifications.

Tel Var stones can be used to buy Hakeijo, several good sets and gold jewelry. Also there are keys for ICP/WGT sets. I think.. dont remember exactly what sets you can get but its clearly not just PvP.

Getting grouped up on there is infurating, but it´s really ZoS fault for creating such an idiotic zone, mixing farming and PvP with currency stealing.

I was attacked there during the IC event when I was clearly blocking and retreating, showing that I didnt want to fight. He attacked anyway.

I pity on gankers. Spending all that time hidden, waiting for an easy kill, doing something that takes little to no skill at all (it's not a duel). It's like winning a 5yo kid playing chess. You must have had a really bad day if you need this kind of gratifications.

Some ppl like the big hero with his shiny golden suit of armor (or bright pink in some cases) proudly riding into battle with trumpet fanfare for everyone to see and others the guy in all black with the hood that emerges out of nowhere and silently just leaves a corpse.

Game caters for both... and they cancel each other out. Assassin catches you slipping... you're toast. The opposite is often true... you catch the assassin they are often a glass cannon. The truly great PvPers are the ones that can play either and still hold their own... regardless.

As for ganking.. I prefer to hang on the fringes of big battles.

That healer that backs out slightly out of the back of the pack... keeping his people alive. That's my target, that will turn the tide for my group.

Flanking and causing distraction and confusion that can also turns the tide. I had to spend some time trying to position myself to do it right and pick the moment. If I mess it up I'll have 5 guys sending me on my way back to the nearest wayshrine...

Creeping around the most popular routes between keeps or near keeps when they get burst... slow down reinforcements. That's just smart strategy... You're heading into a battle you should be ready...

Seeing a scout/troll burster in the distance... and then tracking them and taking them down....

      All valid forms of assassination....

That being said everyone hates that health desync bs some ppl are taking advantage off... even the people that do it to others.

I will simply maintain that it is idiotic game design to put PvE content behind forced PvP. It is not the PvE mechanism that is infuriating, it is the PvP one.

Farming Tel Var, fine. Losing Tel Var to a group boss that aggros on you even when you run away, and always exists even if you´re not in a group, less fine but ok. Being instagibbed by other players (term used loosely) while trying to get non-PvP content, idiotic.

They could at least do something like force peace in IC every other week or so. It is not exactly a flourishing PvP zone anyway, I meet 90% ganker groups / zergs.

It is one thing that players create gameplay that can be disruptive to others (e.g. aggro trains against newbies). It is another when the bloody game COMPANY creates it.

I don't consider there to be any PvE content in IC. The tel var is PvP only, those skyshards are PvP Skyshards, the motifs are PvP Motifs, everything there is PvP except the trials (hmmmm). It just so happens that some of the PvP stuff has use in PvE too.

ZOS designed it that way so that PvE players might be enticed to experience the PvP content but If its that bad for you.... don't do it.

If you feel you have to then prepare, group up or set up a build that can survive average gankers but don't think you can ever treat IC as a PvE environment because it is not.

Tel Var is the only good source of Hakeijo which isn´t PvP. There is no such thing as a 'PvP skyshard'. Much stuff in IC is geared towards PvP but it´s not 'PvP stuff'.

Bottom line is there is stuff in IC which is very useful for solo players, and there is also a bloody questline not marked as a group questline for Mara´s sake. I can see what they tried to do and yes you can work around it; but it is still idiotic to keep it the way it is now. Getting zerged to death in 2 seconds when I´m doing a solo questline and losing currency?
