So, what's your opinion on vampire players?

I have a character that is a vampire, and honestly it makes no difference to me whether or not others choose to be a vampire or not.

i am a vampire but i think think that fire damage for us is Way too harsh and ruins both pve and especially pvp.

or... at least it would be nice if some heroic and knightly factions were out there aimed at killing aforementioned monstrosities: Mel Adrys would be great to lead this faction up.

I have one vampire out 8 characters. She's a dunmer to help with the fire resistance but still find all of the fire damage to overwhelm at times even stacking heals and shield in both pve and PvP. Starting to think it's just not worth it. Lol.

I'm a vampire for the damage reduction below 50% and the other buffs it gives. Fire hurts more? So what? You are supposed to move out of it, and if it's shot at you, you block it. If you're not moving out of fire, even without being a vampire, you are probably going to die anyway.
Vampire has way too many benefits to not use.

Don't care as much if others are vamp, the fact is vampire is advantageous in a number of builds/scenarios, and I won't hesitate to implement it in those scenarios.

I think you have it backwards You'd be the one in the way

Only because of the stupid Vampire skill line. I truly loathe it and I loathe how it utterly wrecks the theme of the Templar class. Its like a fly in the ointment. Its like a smudge on the lens of a telescope. Its the itch you can't scratch. I want Vampirism far less common than it is - a niche choice among many and not just the commonplace garbage that it is now. The game has for a long time felt more like a Vampire Online game than Elder Scrolls to me. The irony of it all is that our characters have just escaped the slavery of Molag Bal and conquered him. We should know better. In terms of the narrative and theme of the game, being a Vampire is garbage.

Vampires and Werewolves have turned into nothing more than a fad. Almost every single build requires or suggests you be one, and basically every single Nightblade you see is a Vampire. Ive pretty much refused to become either out of simple spite at this point.

They need a redesign and they needed it last year. Right now it's just a no brainer "hey look free stats with minimal downside!" kind of like it used to be with Werewolves. Redesign Vampires, put them on par with werewolves, meaning make it so if you build for it you can create a strong vampire but think twice if it's worth it ya know?

Like what if vampires were built around stealing life back or something? Idk, just something other than boring no brainer free stats

I do agree with that, everyone is like 'you must be a vampire for the free stats' now and it's kinda annoying.
