Why Skoira wasnt touched at all?

Why was it exempted from adding a delay and showing an indicator? It continues to proc even if the wearer is dead as well.

To everyone who doesnt know what this is about, monster sets were changed in HOTR. Every direct damaging monster set now has a visual indicator and a delay, except Skoria.

It already has a delay and a sound indicator but it can be hard to hear it coming even in a 1v1 situation let alone a siege fight.

Adding a visual indicator like Meteor's would help both sides by giving the caster an opportunity to focus his burst damage in group fights and the victim to be able to block it.

You can also purge it stopping the burst from happening at all.

Its meant to that since its also a aoe. Just like curse you actually want it to do that so you still get to damage other enemies around that are still alive. Otherwise it the cooldown would feel even longer than it already is

There is no visual indicator before the meteor hits. Sound indicator is way to short to even notice before it hits you. This makes the delay pretty useless as you do not see or hear it coming before its too late.

You can see how Infernal Guardian indicators work. Skoria should been modified to show similarly.

    Hear Skoria sound
    Block immediately

Never found it really to be an issue myself.

I main Magblade and use Skoria 100% of the time. Obviously I love it, but not going to lie - it is overperfoming, especially in light of the other procs being nerfed.

Sounds are always insufficient. Every monster set that was changed to add a visual indicator, had sound indicators before and they werent clear enough either. There should be a VISUAL indicator with ATLEAST 1 second delay BEFORE it hits you to have counter play.

I love skoria in both pve and pvp, and completely agree that its damage should be telegraphed like other monster proc sets.

There is nothing fun about proc sets having a visual indicator allowing the enemy to know exactly when to block or dodge.

Might as well remove them completely if that's the case. If you're too afraid to get hit by said proc sets thus resulting in you dying, maybe you should play another game.

Actually, many people said that skoria needs to be changed before HOTR arrived. But they didnt do anything to it. CWC patch didnt do anything to it as well. So we should remind them :D

Skoria should have been nerfed. Free undodgeable damage every 4 seconds. One of the far too many weaknesses against medium armor builds.

They should damage should come from powers not sets. Bonuses and buffs are what sets should do. But if you are to have them they need to be telegraphed early this year was proc cancer no one wants to go back to proc warfare.
