Can we please increase the difficulty?

    - Normal Dungeons are also a joke. Prior to the removal of vet levels, mechanics mattered in normal dungeons, but no longer. Like world bosses, there are exceptions, but this is generally true.

Just saying, I'm yet to kill a single normal dungeon with a II next to it. Maybe it's because I'm playing with 3 other people that are new too, but don't assume that everyone finds this game easy.

The last two dungeons they added to this game are anything but easy.

As far as the landscape - I would agree that has become too easy in regards to everything except world bosses. So even assuming the OP is telling the truth - not all World Bosses are created equal and many of them would eat him for breakfast with no armor and no CP.

But delves, public dungeons... questing in general.... I would agree that has become too easy and needs to be beefed up some.

The game needs a player nerf à la "Resurrection Sickness" from World of Warcraft.

People who have played that game know that when you get resurrection sickness (i.e. from not doing the corpse run in the world) you get 15 minutes of a huge debuff that reduces all your stats by something like 75%, and reduces your damage done by the same amount I believe.

They just need to put some kind of funky Mundus Stone at each starting zone in the game (for each of the 3 factions) that would do something similar. You activate the stone, accept the debuff, then continue playing the game normally, except that your character will be massively nerfed and now everything in the game just got harder.

If it's too hard you can just turn it off by hitting the stone again.

I've suggested this elsewhere, but all the snowflakes just cry about it as though it would somehow (?) affect them in any way.

honestly, its probably THE best possible solution. debuff is purely optional, those who want their game harder - can have it, while those who enjoy more relaxing playtime can continue to enjoy themselves. as a casual, who likes the current difficulty, I would 100% FULLY support this solution, becasue it allows me to continue having the gaming experience I enjoy, while giving more options for everyone else..

I have a feeling through that people who were the most against it are not the people who like the game easier, but rather the people who keep asking for harder. because they don't just want challenge for themselves, what quite a few of them really want is to get filthy casuals out of THEIR game, by making it unplayable for filthy casuals.

P.S. this reply is to another poster, not Dahveed - I have been playing video games since early 90ties. do you know what was popular back then? adventure games and puzzles, with mix of turn based and real time strategy. and even early shooters? came with difficulty mode selection, so please, spare me the "modern tv watchers ruined gaming" what made most games "hard" was not being able to save much (or at all in some cases), and the fact that rather then adopt to AI, you had to memorize its patterns.

Don't worry I've only been playing for less than a year and I guarantee you it get's easier. I had no prior MMO experience, I made a tank and didn't even know what a taunt was, but you learn. I remember the first time I entered city of ash 2 on vet I spent 4 hours in there and we still didn't finish it, but just yesterday I got the speed run achievement and I laugh at how easy it is now.

The problem is everything will get easier, CP cap keeps getting higher and new sets create better builds, there's no point editing the old content to be harder because it's already hard for the new guys, all they can do is release new trials and dungeons.

That being said I would love to see a new DLC PVE area that doesn't scale and is super difficult, like you need to at least have a tank, a healer and 2 or 3 dps to take out large groups of adds and World bosses that need 10+ high levels to take out.

    This.

People who say the game is easy are most likely very experienced and have no idea what it's like to be new anymore.

Starting a new character and killing things while naked, even a WB, is nothing special if you're experienced, and it doesn't mean the game is easy.

Anything becomes easy once you know what the hell your're doing.

If this event has taught me anything, it's that the majority of players absolutely cannot solo WBs, and lots more get oneshot by them.

Still no vid yet huh? Darn it I wanted to see such a cool feat. It took champ no time to upload his vid, what's the hold up if you have time to post responses?

Married, and I work 56 hours/week. Not to mention I've been having to run errands and get the house ready for Halloween.

As far as posting responses go, I usually have some down time at the hospital after transporting a patient. Any additional questions?

M'kay pumpkin, I'll give you more time, but if you're not going to post a vid just say so. With so many attacks to your integrity though, I'd have thought someone who takes playing videogames so seriously would make it a priority.

Posting a vid is quite important to maintain any sort of credibility moving forward. You do have intergrity and value credibility yes?

I created a new character on the EU server. So after exiting the tutorial I went straight to a world boss and killed it without wearing any armor, and without having any CP and being level 4. This is ridiculous.

Ridiculous are such stories, in which I don't believe. You want my awesome, right? You won't have it :p .

I have felt for a long time that this game really needs a diffuculty slider, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Insane for all the open world content and public dungeons with scaling loot to match. White/Green for Easy, Green/Blue for Normal, Blue/Purple for Hard, and Purple/Gold for Insane. This would also be an incentive to improve your builds, learn to play, and get some nicer gear in the process.

This would also reduce the weekly whiney threads on "This Game Is Too Easy!", or "This Game Is Too Hard!" :)

    So what say you @ZOS_GinaBruno , @ZOS_RichLambert ?
