I created a new character on the EU server. So after exiting the tutorial I went straight to a world boss and killed it without wearing any armor, and without having any CP and being level 4. This is ridiculous.

Do you have full CP? The problem would be for players who don't know mechanics of the game and have no CP. It is going to be hard for them to do something like that. Would be nice if there was a hardmode overworld or something you could go to for experienced players but would probably segment the playerbase too much.

I one soloed nMoL as level 40, thought it was an public dungeon

Nope. I'm max CP on NA so I decided to create a character on the EU server in hopes that the game would be fun again. Nope, still stupid easy.

If you killed a worldboss with no armor, then quite frankly, no game is going to be hard enough for you.

Mag NB I'm guessing? I was soloing WB without CPs applied at very low levels on mine. Granted I wasn't naked, but I also wasn't ever in any danger of dying either.

Edit: Lol everyone in this thread is really doubting if this is real? I mean even if it isn't it's not a very spectacular thing to brag about. It's widely known level scaling in this game is broken. I had a level 13 troll character that I would never level up and stay in mournhold dueling cp160+ chars because it was so ridiculously broken. Also killed multiple WB solo with level'd character during the last patch. As well as completed MA with a level'd character (for my troll pvp one) so I had the title.

Overland content is supposed to be easy. It needs to be accessible to new players who don't know mechanics or how the game works. Advanced players should be looking for challenges elsewhere like veteran dungeons, trials and arenas. If that isn't good enough, you can make your own challenges like speed running to lv 50 as fast as you can or soloing group content. Making overland content harder will just push the barrier to entry higher and reduce new players. That's not a good thing.

I just noticed OP was exaggerating... but realistically level'd chars around 13-18 are a sweet spot for exploiting the scaling, especially if you have CP, good gear, and abilities.

Outside of vet trials and some vet dungeons, the game is absurdly easy.

By writing that, I'm not saying players who don't find this to be true are bad gamers. It might also mean the game has never forced such players to better learn it.

At launch, levels 1-50 were very easy, but vet content was very challenging. It was made *much* easier a couple of months after launch and overland/delve content has become even easier since 1T and via power creep.

When I hit VR1 before the nerf, it was like a wall. I actually raged for a moment. But then I realized then that I had played to 50 without actually learning to play. I didn't bother learning how damage or mitigation worked, how to build characters according to the rules of the game, or even how much stamina blocking or roll dodge used.

After I learned those things, the game became easier and Vet content was a lot of fun... until it was nerfed and made easier.

I've been levelling alts lately, and find overland/delve/normal and public dungeon content to be incredibly boring. Even most vet dungeons are easy, but time consuming to solo.

I just want to queue up for a random vet dungeon, and when the ready check hits, whip out the broom and see how long it takes them to kick me.

Funny how people talk about how 'easy' open world content is, and I still see new players being killed all the time on Khenarthi's Roost by Alits and Thunderbugs. So NO... this content is not super easy for every player. Oh, and I've never been able to solo a World Boss (since their One Tamriel revamp) and I've been playing the game for over two years now and have 760 CP.

Did you allocate all that CP on your new Alt? Cause that'd be why it was "still stupid easy". Even if you under Lvl50 your CP still applies it's buffs.

I see low levels all the time who are obviously new to the game and haven't started earning CP yet, and they struggle with Overland content so hard it's almost sad to watch. So the next time people like the OP is complaining about "stupid easy" content, it's your 700CP doing most of the work for you.
