This is a brand new character on a brand new server. Doesn't get newer than this other than the person behind the controller.

I have to wonder, are we even talking about the same game here? If so, I think you might be an exception to the rule when it comes to players' abilities. I'm guessing you're on the young side and have great reflexes. I'm on the older side and have been playing games since the early 80s. Yeah, sure, I know your answer is the old tried and true LTP or git gud, but just try to understand how frustrating it is to be aging and finding your reflexes not what they used to be, and some of us have physical disabilities. I can get killed by a WB any day of the week. Some day, you will be old too.

You're not incorrect. I am 29, and I am no "noob". I am not going to insult you, but may I ask? How much should an MMO cater to someone with physical limitations, and how much would it cater to someone like me? When even a WB can be solo'd from a fresh account should that not raise a red flag? You're older, and I'm assuming wiser so what are your thoughts?

I don't know about wiser. I will say this: You and I both paid to play this game, hopefully to have fun, which I do, and will continue to play until it is no longer fun. It sounds like you are not, as you are the one wanting it to change.

Ok, well ignoring the obvious ability of the OP to avoid easily telegraphed attacks enough to wittle down a world boss on a new character, which I don't doubt he did, I just want to say that as an end game player, I appreciate that most overland content is one-shot easy. When I want to challenge myself, I run 4 man dungeons solo. Doing this I often end up learning boss mechanics I wasn't even aware of when playing in a full group. It's lots of fun, and I honestly encourage the OP to do it if he wants a challenge.

Did it occur to you that people who are commenting here can play just fine, but they know that noobs do NOT have the same skills that the OP has? I'm at the level now where I can kill everything pretty quickly, yes, even solo world bosses, I've done a lot of veteran dungeons, and PvP (no, not just in a zerg), but I also want ZOS to be considerate of ALL players, not just people who have been playing for over a year and have mastered the game.

I usually play on NA, but recently started a character on EU because I've filled all my character slots. Guess what ... my skill level with a zero-CP char with no gear is vastly superior to everyone just starting the game, just because I've been playing for a year already and I now know what I'm doing. My same skill level when I was a noob in the first month I got the game was ridiculously bad. There IS a difference, and it would be a huge mistake for ZOS to make an across-the-board raise in the difficulty level in all areas. Newbies would get frustrated because they couldn't kill anything, and leave. Obviously the solution is for ZOS to continue to release harder content aimed specifically at veteran players, which is what they've been doing, and will continue to do.

I wish there was an alternate version of the world. One where you could click a button while on your map to travel to. With much more difficult content.

Quire frankly this post reeks of lies. Even at CP 700+ it's not the normal players experience to be able to easily solo world bosses, let alone at level 4 and undergeared.

If you really did do it, then you're part of the .1% of Gods who can also run VMA blindfolded with a hand tied behind their back aswell I'm sure. In which case it's not the difficulty of the game that's the problem, but the fact that you are a God amongst men.

The only way I could imagine it happening legitimately is if the fight itself took like 20+ minutes.

Gotta love people who showcase just how insecure they are that they turn to lying about virtual achievements in videogames to overcompensate obvious deficiencies from not having done anything that actually matters.

Done. Dramatically easier this time around. Although, I will say that it’s pretty much impossible to do without any CP or gear. Lol. OP was definitely exaggerating by a mile, in claiming that he can solo a WB at Lv.3 with no gear or CP.

Of course the game is going to be easy if you know how to play. That doesn't mean the game is easy.

I did Soulfire Plateau with my magicka warden lvl 34, only questgear but with 560cp too. Im not a good Player so it was a very long fight with plenty shilding and healing, blocking (no heal ulti i like the bear) :D . Oh dont fear me i dont go vetdungeons since i cant figure out to do enough dps, normal is the place for me even its to easy.

My point is the bosses and even some questmobs can be really hard for new players without cps, rising the difficulty would drive a lot of players away. (sry for that english its not my native but i try ;) )

Based on my recent experiences with levelling new characters/playing new content in different ways.. imho (talking overland content here)..

    1. max level character, full cp/gear --> Game is way too easy

    2. new character with full cp/crafted gear, experienced player -> Game is way too easy

    3. new character with full cp, using crappy dropped gear he finds, experienced player -> Game is easy (but not faceroll easy)

    4. new character, only dropped gear/ no-cp spent, experienced player -> Still easy but may die once or twice if a bit careless - probably about right for an easyish story-mode game.

    5. brand new player - no gear and no way to get gear. No CP, no knowledge of game mechanics nor class, poor keybinds, mix of mag and stam stats/skills -> game is hard.

I really don't know how it can be made harder for an experienced player without making it impossible for the new - unless they give some kind of hidden boost to accounts that don't have any cp160 characters yet... but then doesn't that kind of defeat the object of getting cp..?
    Minalan owes me a beer.

This, claiming that overland mob, delve bosses and dark anchors are to easy is very legitimate.

Soloing an world boss nude at level 4.
I one soloed nMoL as level 40, thought it was an public dungeon :)

You claim to solo a trial that is meant for 12 people solo? Hard to believe imo.

AT CP level 100 on my sorc I'm getting 1 hit killed by regular story enemies sometimes (I mean the ones with the purple bar, but they don't count as a delve/ public dungeon/ world boss). I have to use food all the time only to prevent that from happening. The game is currently difficult for me, but not impossible.

I honestly would not want it any harder.

Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.
