Well, I would be against that to be honest, and I am sure the devs would be. The purpose behind things like dailys or hirelings is to encourage the playerbase to continue to log into the game, even when they might not have plans to do anything else that day. Then, hopefully, you get sucked into other content and play all evening. They are never going to reward people for not playing. MMOs need to keep you logging in and they nee content that has high replay value (even if just for the gear). If they dont do that, they disappear.

Wouldnt that make for way too many resources getting flooded into the market? If you dont log in for a week and come back to 50 mails of resources, they should have some sort of cap imo. Im not sure how it works, but I would hope there is a reason for the way it is other than just to inconvenience players.

I used to login much more frequently but these days i rarely get to take advantage of that 3rd skill point.

Maybe a better chance for more purple/gold mats?

I wouldnt mind so much if they worked. Sucks to reload half the characters because zos didnt send the email. Zos likes people spamming character loads? This makes the server perform better right? Why not make it a pickup box in the game like the writ drop boxes? Or at least anchor them on real world time and you can pick up any time during that period instead of the stupid exactly12 hours plus crap load time plus reloads due to server suckage.

Accounts that are inactive would bloat the mail system fast. Cant blame them there. There are better ways to prevent that then stupid 12 hr unforgiving timer.

It never occurred to me to log in twice just for those few items. To me the advantage was simply not to have a 24h timer, could be 20h like the riding lessons and I would be fine with it.

It's a rip off that you need "two" deliveries a day to be certain of getting just one.

I'm sure that many people are like me and cannot log in at precise 12 hour intervals, so will never get two deliveries, but if you select the 2 skill option then you have to log in at precise 24 hour intervals and that might not be convenient either. So it's waste a skill point and only get one a day instead of two, or waste a skill point because you might not even get the one

I work 12 hour shifts 4 days a week. With commuting, eating and other irl needs I only get 2 emails on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday. Even with a 10 hour cd, I would have to be very rigid with my schedule to get both emails on work days.

Since you are paying for it, they should stack until you check the mail ... just like bills or junk mail. The current set up is a scam and there is no legit reason for it. Especially if I'm paying for + whether I login or not, I should get my mail whether I log in or not also.

It does annoy me that there's no leeway, like with the horse timer (which is 20 hours, making it much easier never to miss a feeding even if I have to be flexible with the login times).

This is exactly what I use the third point for, to be flexible in my daily time. I only log in once a day (or less), but not always at the exact same time. By having the skill at 3/3, I still get the daily reward.

I utilise my mailbox to store items that are STILL unstackable since game release so even with me logging in once a day, on 14 characters atm, my mailbox is always full when logging chars for writs/hirelings so i am in no rush to log every 12 hours to be faced with double the logistical hassle.
