    I'll go off topic here, but i'm honestly quite dissapointed with the lack of dps buffs. Zenimax, can we have any comment about this, are you satisfied with current performance of the class? Is your intention for them to not being played as dps at all?

    Regarding Frozen Gate:

    It feels like wardens got a big pvp buff, where they were already very strong. For pve, this really only buffs warden tanks.

    Any plans to fix Maturation bug where you get the heroism but can't fully heal yourself?

    Also will lotus ever heal off medium attacks, because as it is right now it feels broken.

    This class is the only non-viable dps class.

    I mean stamina works but that's just because you use weapon skills, the magicka version of this class is a healer and that's it. The damage is poop on a stick.

    I'm also here to voice my opinion that because we are viewed as a hybrid class we are unable to compete in terms of dps with the other 4 classes. Please Zenimax bear in mind that even though we are a hybrid, a dps warden does not take any healing abilities, and the healers don't take any damage abilities. The tanks don't take any damage or healing abilities either. So basically it just means that when we want to perform any particular task we don't do it well by any means, we just are able
    to do it. Now I will concede that our tanking and healing is fantastic, and I don't feel like any changes are needed here. However, do not punish our dps because we have the ability to also heal or have tanking abilities. Also PLEASE for the love of god give Fletcher flies a stamina morph!

    In addition:

    My biggest gripe about the warden class is that the signature ability that DEFINES the warden is almost completely useless. The bear needs a major rework. I do not think it should be the ultimate for Animal Companions. All Wardens should baseline have the bear ability as part of their kit. The animal companion ultimate should do something along the lines of berserking the bear for a short period of time making him charge/stun things and do increased damage. In it's current state not only is it a garbage ultimate - it is severely crippled by the fact that it must be double barred to even be used! No other ultimate in the game has this restriction and this on it's own makes it completely un-usable except for RP purposes.

    Please, give the DPS wardens some love! We need it! The lore and atmosphere of the class is so amazing I'm just disappointed in it's performance.

    Some possible DPS buff suggestions:

    Increase their damage by 10% against chilled enemies. Difficult to maintain in PvP and potent buff in PvE that rewards them for using an ice staff.

    Or let the warden apply a dot on chilled enemies, passively.

    Increase cold damage done by at least 15% instead of 5%. Seems strong, but isn't when you look at their abilities who actually do cold damage. Won't affect PvP a lot.

    Make the 8% max Magicka passive come with any Winter's Embrace skill... Having uneven resources is really stupid and no-one wants to double bar any ultimate.

    The bear is not worth being an ultimate. Sorcerers pet does the same damage and even more in AoE and isn't one.

    • Frozen Gate: This ability and its morphs now allow you to have up to 3 gates active at a time, up from 1. Its initial spawning visual effects are now visible to enemies.
      Developer Comments:
      Frozen Gate is meant as a flavorful analogue to Fiery Grip. Allowing multiple traps at a time lets you throw it down on several enemies at the same time, then have them all get pulled to you. Clever players can anticipate where enemies will be and put traps down even before they get there.


    It really should be 1 frozen gate that can pull 3 enemies to you, rather than 3 gates that pull 1 each. Pretty much the only way to make a clumsy skill usable; by making it more cost efficient. The area of the frozen gate is fairly large, just seems lame to have a portal only port 1 unit.

    The strategic value won't be lost either, you can still use your knowledge of the fight to place the portal in a place where multiple mobs would cross it/spawn, or even have healer/dps run across it while being chased. It's about increasing the value/utility of a portal, rather than blanketing an area with multiples of the same skill while draining magicka.

    And stamina cliff racer get an actual effect

    Wardens create a weird bias in PvP. People that play alone are people who stuck out wardens and are generally speaking good at playing the class. Otherwise, wardens do a great job in zergs too, but you're going to die to folks spamming stuff on you when you're getting chased by a zerg anyway.

    We should be allowed to target our bear with nature's grasp, as it stand there is only 1 skill (Fungal Growth) and a half (Budding Seeds) that actually functions as a direct heal, while bear's low durabiltiy is often a rather large issue. Please reconsider.

    PvE-wise warden is still garbage. Pretty disappointed in tweaks.
    Damage is really bad, rotation is unrewarding and overlycomplicated, also spells are clunky.
    Profanity filter is a crime against the freedom of speech. Also gags.

    I feel the only way you get kills in pvp is endless spam one skill while hanging around a zerg. If it were dodgeable, then maybe you'll learn some skill.

    Frozen Gate: I like the Change, however its reliability is the main concern here... if someone´s immune to hard cc, he shouldn´t activate it at all.

    Nature´s Grasp: Sounds sensible. Adding a small HoT- component to Healing Seed and Fungal Growth would be even more sensible.

    Or even better: If an enemy affected by the Healing Seed Morph Corrupting Pollen dies, it automatically triggers the skill´s synergy as an AoE Heal.

    Unrelated to this: You failed to address the key point of the class´s lack of popularity:

    the BEAR.

    1) Give the bear a grace period before he despawns when only slotted on one bar.
    2) Give the bear the Clannfear´s taunting power
    3) Create some kind of interaction between pet and owner, like: If the bear critically hits the target, your next heavy attack will do 20% more damage.

    Exactly. And it has some more downsides as well: if a pet is fighting with the enemy, with the frozen rune below him, he won't be pulled to the caster. If the enemy doesn't move, he won't be pulled (so an archer can stand in the rune, and he won't be pulled if he is just shooting, not moving).

    Is there any plan atm to buff Warden DPS...... particularly Magicka Warden DPS?

    It is low right now. So very low. Please tell us you are at least aware of this issue and are looking at future buffs. ESO has always been a game about choice, and it's certainly not intended that one class remains unwanted in all aspects of endgame PvE and is almost unusable for the role of DPS. Ty

    Wish they would have a look at gripping shards... that skill feels super laggy unless you weaponswap cast it. They should remove the delay on it. (it has the same issue like solar blast on a templar... very very unresponsive cast)

    As for Nature's Grasp.. I get the idea of the skill but it's ust very very hard to use especially if you have 12 people standing all around, it's very hard to pick the correct target and the game's auto aim makes it even worse.
    Would be a bit more useable if the skill would auto target the lowest health target in the area of your cross hair.

    I also fear the extended 28 range will make the issue worse where the game refuses to believe you moved that fast and snaps you back (or makes you fall through the floor)... it will be the same issue as with the stranglers in MSA (which they changed since they couldn't fix it).. and the ones in DSA.

    At this point, I think it would be better to rethink the skill.

    That's already available... Mage Light or Expert Hunter... I like that we have the option to use a casted crit bonus.. that means we have the option to bar swap and keep the bonus.

    From what I can see, the netch still gives you away while sneaking. Please tell me this will be fixed when this patch goes live......

    I don't think you've ever played as a warden lol. Takes a lot of skill, not just spamming birds. Honestly if you die to straight birds it's really just a learn to play issue.

    I'm baffled by the lack of comments from zos on this. They can't really be satisfied with current performance, then what are they waiting for.

    My Main warden (of 3) is a Magicka DD and I don't see any cool changes for him with CWC.

    Maybe with the new weapons the DMG could be higher, but that doesn't affect the class Skills and passives.

    So the Magicka warden will still be the worst Magicka DD as now.

    It's the skills that are the issue. Only 4 does abilities from class are damage not incuding ult. One is an ice AOE, two are direct damage, and then swarm(which I heard doesn't scales with therm. Idk if true) there is no synergy between them. Then passives are subpar. Other classes work better. mDk is all fire all dots and one direct spamables. mSorc is lightning or pet with both synergies between skills. mNB used to be all about direct damage(still is but alittle less). Magplars is crit and therm. There needs to be a change for the skills and passives.

    Why is the warden so bad at dps, it's the weakest of all classes and by a mile.
