This one would like to say something positive, because Khajiit feels that in our salty world, we need more people like this.

Yesterday, this one was deep inside DC territory, when she came across a dolmen where some strange people were performing what only could have been a very dark ritual.
Upon defeating Molag Bal's spawn, this one looked forward to acquiring all the goodies from the chest that spawned, yes?
But then, a member of DC approached! This one was so scared to lose her loot, since the armored rider could have easily overtakenher.
But he did not, and I would like to grant upon him the blessing of Jone and Jode! May he always find warm sands!

tl;dr: when you see someone just doing dolmen, or questing in Cyro, it's nice to leave them be.

Yup! Usually when I meet a solo player of a different alliance in a primarily PvE area -- a delve, a Dolmen, or a town -- I wait to see if I get attacked first. What stinks is that you can't send tells to players of different alliances while you're alive; that means that it's hard to coordinate if you try to help each other get all the bosses in a delve.

It also gets a lil' hairy to fight while players of other alliances are around -- you can't heal them and your pets and abilities will hit them. But I met two friendly Dominion players while trying to get Cyrodiil Cave Delver, and we left each other be.

Edit: Now that I think about it. Someone find out the name of this COVENANT soldier that let the cat go. He/she will be court-martialed. Let the damn cat go free, back on the battlefield, and the cat will kill COVENANT soldiers. Everyone wake the f[snip] up! No more of this wishy-washy bull[snip]! We are here to win the war. And don't you forget that....

Bitter you say!!!?? My father owned one of the most prominent wineries in all of Cyrodiil. Exporting throughout Tamriel. I watched his murder at the hands of Mad King Krotha! I almost witnessed Akinos, Kilandros, and Frozn ravage my mother while Vortexman held little eight year old me in a headlock. Forced to watch what they were about to do, my mother screaming, fighting, calling my name.... I don't know what came over me in that moment, watching what they were doing to my mother, but I bit Vortexman's forearm (definitely not a forearm that knew the benefits of Greek yogurt) with all my might. Long story short, my mother and I managed to escape the savage clutches of the Mad King and his men. And not a moment too soon, Akinos and Frozn's pants were already down around their ankles.

We fled west. Hitching rides where we could with those that were friendly. We made it to Rawl'kha in Reaper's March. We had nothing other than the clothes on our backs. My families wealth was confiscated by the Mad King and used to buy M&Ms and Jolly Ranchers. My mother knowing she still had a responsibility to her child made a sacrifice. My mother, a well respected imperial noblewoman sacrificed her body and became a prostitute so that she could feed and clothe me. So she could put a roof over our heads.

*Scipio, his rage seeming to have subsided, slowly sits down on a chair opposite of Cyn*
*Staring right at her Scipio begins to speak again*

She worked in Telel's brothels. But amongst the khajiit they were known as "litter boxes". Cat street talk I suppose. And so that's how we lived. In the shadow of the turmoil and tension that would eventually result in the Alliance War.... My mother had become popular with Telel's clientele. I guess when you are a cat and all you see is fur day in and day out, an imperial woman would be a sight for sore eyes.

One day, I had to of been 17 or 18 at the time, my mother came home bloodied and battered. Her face swollen. Right eye almost closed shut. I was in a panic, I didn't know what to do. But, very faint, like a whisper, I heard the name "Telel" from my mother's most likely broken jaw. My panic turned to anger. And then my anger to rage. I made sure my mother was asleep as comfortably in bed as one in her condition could have been, and I left the house. I asked around town for Telel's whereabouts, finally tracking him down to his litter box in downtown Rawl'kha, the Hairless Kitten.

I knew the moment I left the house that there was no turning back, Telel and anyone else involved was going to pay. I had every intention to skin that cat alive. When I got to the main entrance of the Hairless Kitten I saw two large bouncers, heavily armed. Thunder cats the khajiit called them. Well, thunder or no thunder, I wasn't going to allow what happened to my mother stand. Not even Akatosh himself could have stopped me in that moment.

I remember formulating in my mind a way to steal a weapon and then make my attack, when I saw something gleaming in the corner of my eye. Over at the nearby outdoor cafe I noticed a shiny silver spoon inside an empty container of Greek yogurt. I went over to the table, and before the busboy came back to clear the table, I grabbed the spoon, put it in my pocket, and headed back to Telel's club.

Getting right to the point.... I killed the two thunder cats standing at the door, made my way inside this den of depravity, and right there in the corner of the room was Telel. He had a grin from ear to ear as a redguard and wood elf grinded their rears up and down his face to the music, and a lusty argonian maid had her face buried between his legs.... I had locked onto my target like a homing missile, not even Maverick and Goose could have gotten away from me. I went straight towards Telel, I can't remember exactly because I had tunnel vision, but I am sure I knocked over a cocktail server or two.

I pushed the two woman out of the way, and this all happened in the blink of an eye, but it still all so vivid for me.... I pushed the women aside, Telel startled, opened his eyes and saw me, his eyes grow wide with worry as I struck with the spoon. Just as I struck I was tackled by a thunder cat. I did not achieve my goal that day. But I did leave Telel with a lasting reminder over his right eye.

The club was thrown into chaos. People running all over the place, screaming. I could have sworn I saw Sypher (wasn't he too young to be allowed inside a place like that by law) and Kevduit (does his wife know) run for the exit. But I managed to kill the thunder cat that had taken me to the ground and I made my escape. When I got back to my mother's house, thunder cats and Rawl'kha guards (all in Telel's pocket for sure) were swarming all around, all over town. I couldn't go inside and have them catch me with my mother. Telel would have put two and two together and killed us both.

And so right then and there I began making my way north. To this day I haven't seen my mother since.... While heading north I met a fellow named Minno who just so happened to be heading the same way I was. He told me that full scale war was about to breakout in Tamriel and that he was heading to the great garrison in Bangkorai to join the DAGGERFALL ALLIANCE and do his part in the effort.

*A loud noise is heard, something slamming on top of the table, startling Cyn out of the story*
*Cyn sees a silver spoon sticking straight up from the table. Stuck in the wood like a knife would be*

And the rest is history.... So, don't tell me not to be bitter.... Cat...

*Scipio gets up from the table and walks away towards the door*
*Cyn quietly stares as Scipio exits*

Back at Farragut Keep (aka Kandy Kastle)....

Akinos, Kilandros, Frozn, and Vortexman were all kneeling shoulder to shoulder with their heads bowed in the throne room.

Kilandros: Sire we....

*Before Kilandros could finish his sentence he is interrupted by a fist (w/ a Ring Pop in a finger) slamming down on the armrest of the throne*
*The force of the impact makes a bowl of skittles on a nearby table jump*

Mad King Krotha: SILENCE!!!!....

MKK: You fools failed me! Imbeciles! Look at you all! You are all supposed to be pros! Super meta DKs and templar tanks!!! You let a boy, a little boy get away from you!? And that imperial b!tch!?

*The Mad King breathing heavily in anger*

MKK: There are repercussions for those that fail me!

*Akinos visibly shaken begins to sob*

MKK: What do you think daughter? What should the punishment be?
Jules: Daddy, we can't punish them all. They are some of our most important soldiers in the battlefield. You would be suffering a self inflicted wound if you were to kill all of them.

*Kodi off on the side of the throne room injects himself in the conversation (foolishly)*

Kodi: Sire she's right.

*Mad King Krotha quickly turns his head around angry*

MKK: SILENCE! You little sh[snip]!!
Jules: Daddy no....

*Jules touches Mad King Krotha's shoulder*
*Mad King Krotha grumbles*

MKK: You're lucky my daughter loves you or I would.... But you're right. I cannot afford to lose them.... Unfortunately....

*Akinos breathes a huge sigh of relief as his hands are shaking uncontrollably*

MKK: The four of you bums get out of my sight!

*The four stand up and facing the Mad King /salute*

MKK: Go! Get out of my sight before I change my mind!
MKK: But!....

*Everyone in the throne room freezes*

MKK: I am not called the MAD KING for nothing! And I don't make empty threats! Someone here will be punished!

*Mad King Krotha jumps up from the throne and points out across the room into the crowd*

MKK: You there! Bring him to me!

*JDMoonan and Big Ernie grab Sribes by the shoulders*
*They drag Sribes forward as Sribes is hysterically pleading for his life*

Kodi: *Thinking to himself* F[snip], who will cover my a** with guard now with a 51K+ health tank.

MKK: Death! Death by dipping into the pools of molten caramel! Hahahahahahaha! That is the fate of those who fail me! Hahahahahahaha!

*Mad King Krotha dips Sribes in the pool of caramel*

A free and instant journey to a safe place is courteous. But yes I always wait until they loot, props for soloing a dolmen in Cyrodiil. I've also failed the kill and been killed for it, so all seems fair.

i am completely against this thread and its request, what this thread is suggesting is how you ruin PvP.
in a PvP area we are suppose to PvP. if you train people to Not PvP in a PvP area then you ruin the game.

I agree.. but there is ONE exception for me - if I see somebody trying to get a skyshard, or dolmen rewards after just finishing it - I'll let them get it - and THEN attack. May even be doing them a favour by giving them a quick port back

Once I found a couple EP taking DClaw resources in Shor during Midyear Mayhem. Publius was in zone chat yelling at people for ignoring DClaw. I killed the EP and retook the resources. Publius showed up and (a) inexplicably asked if I was Krotha's brother, then (b) told some story in zone chat about how I was the hero of DClaw who stemmed the tide when no one else etc.

That was probably my peak ESO experience. It's all downhill from there.

I've been collecting skyshards and dungeon achievements with my latest character in Cyrodiil for the last few days and i have run into "enemy" players on numerous occasions but nobody engaged in battle.

I guess they were all there for the same reason ...

I was PvEing on my Sorcerer in Cyrodiil one day. I was camped at a Boss to clear a Delve and saw an enemy player come in, but he left me alone and I left him alone. We both took on the boss when it spawned and amazingly no stray damage from either of us hit either of us. I thanked the player and went to make my way out of the delve. Only a mob has spawned right next to use so I attacked it, but I missed and tagged the other player. I immediately said Sorry, it was a mistake.

Well, the other player did not accept my apology and proceeded to attack me. At first I just stood there and took it, because, well, I did make the mistake. Only problem was, after like 7 attacks the other player only took me down to 50% health. At that point, I thought, I am not losing to this scrub, cranked up my Surge and Shield and took him out in 3 hits. For the record, they were at like CP315 and at the time I was at CP820 or so.

So, my first other player kill in Cyrodill was all because I did not use Tab Targeting.

2 years ago while I played Stam blade, I ran into the same situation. Only the blue was so scared of doing the dolmen he was trying to hit the enemies while trying to stay stealthed so I wouldn't kill him. After I killed the boss, I saw him and poped a detect potion. Once he knew the jig was up, he got the idea I wasn't going to kill him and I let him take the loot from the treasure chest after I got mine. He thanked me and we went our separate ways.

That wouldn't be the last either. I did a dolmen outside of Jejanus and 2 blues also did it with me being mindful of not hitting me with their attacks.

But the story of the little scared Argonian blue, is probably my favorite story I have from Cyrodiil.
