Whenever DC goes on their early morning emp keep rounds, just let them. It will not change the eventual outcome anyway, and it will deny them the little bit of actual PvP your presence has to offer.

They do a good job of avoiding PvP on their own.

There was actually a fair bit of EP guilds on tonight and the fights were pretty back and forth for awhile.

But like we consistently watched DC bail on keeps without even trying to defend them. Decent sized groups of DC would dip out even before Inners were down. Maybe AD was seeing a different story on their side of the ring, but the EP dethrone push was barely even contested at Aleswell.

Might've just been happenstance, but I'm starting to suspect DC guilds are either heavily west coast players or purposefully avoid the map when they notice EP/AD consistently throwing up 20/20 guild siege.

DC would rather push lower pop EP than fight even numbers against AD. We couldn't get even fights and went to Vivec.

Well, if you zoom the camera out far enough... keep doors do appear small.

And if you setup siege from max range AND put the camera at max distance the keep doors appear really small.

I guess that's the "small scale" they are referring to.

Good PVP last night, EP. It's pretty fun when several organized groups are up and willing to fight at keeps!

I love when you are like "hey guys let's take X keep" and you get there and EP already have siege up! Nice.

Or "Oh *** inc Bleaks!" and everyone actually shows up and wrecks them again and again.

I was surprised that they sort of stuck around for awhile. Since numbers were even they just did hit-and-run resource flipping appropriate for a group half their size or less.

Fun PVP last night, GJ.

EP also did a pretty good job (compared to normal) of not attacking the TM outpost farms...that often sucks up a lot of players to no avail.

I just enjoyed that somewhere around eight folks all just pugs at Roe wiped their 20 man on the inner. They dropped an FC and we didn't - still pushed them out. It's bad when you can tell a group is using Discord and they're still getting small-scaled by pugs.

I'll take my free AP when it comes. I have stopped minding that if I take a town/resource I'll get a slow trickle of folks and then a ten man surge. I don't really have to look for fights or sit around running siege.

We have decided to remove commentary from this thread, due to shaming of specific players. While there haven't been any actual names used, the intention is still clearly directed towards specific individuals. We understand there will be some rivalry and competitive razzing when discussing campaigns, however, we don't want commentary that doesn't promote constructive discussion. Dear ZOS - the reason the Sotha thread gets so bad is because of what is happening on the server. People run away from fights, only to come back when the population can be easily overwhelmed.
Some who I can't name and I am trying very hard to stick to the rules here, then gate camping EP shoot into the spawns preventing EP from playing on the server unless strong guilds or groups are present and are not focused down. A lot of the people here prefer no-cp pvp on the 30 day server, 7 days is just to short, but are concerned that if the server gets to dead ZOS has a tendency to shut servers down permanently. If we can't take to the forums please inform us how we are to handle this situation? It is through forms and threads that solutions can be formulated and then discussed in game. How do we combat that when we can't fight them? Thank you for your attention and support in this situation. I am open to discussion of this problem with people just point us in the correct direction. Thanks.

Every post I put here aren't even directly naming or shaming yet it gets deleted. So my opinion or humor obviously doesnt matter to ZOS. Im still waiting for an explanation as to how proposing to players in sotha to make a guild named " INPUT GUILD NAME" here to fight against "INPUT GUILD NAME." Here is considered against the forum rules and there for deleted....

Hopefully this one follows the many rules that ZOS has in place. For a game... I must say and this isn't just for me but many players feel extremely restricted in this game needless to say. I'm not trying to say you as a company are bad but dutchess from the post before has a valid point.

As an AD player I can vouch how annoying it is when a certain faction is and you can tell that they are killing a campaign through their actions.

And I am AD, EP has it worse in my opinion.

Oh, and those without a guild or a strong group. Has it the worst out of everyone.

I've had an interesting conversation with a member of CN who told me that apparently it's all Consortium's fault that the map flips each night and not CN's. I have also learned that they feel that 12 people is never a zerg, even in a 12v1. Then he challenged me to a 1v1, I said let's put money on it, and then he backed out. Then he threatened that he was going to get emperor and deliberately gate camp us for a week straight because of me, so I'm sorry guys.

He also told me his monthly income - not sure why that's relevant.

If a certain group of players are acting in a shameful manner and it's having a hugely negative effect on the server, and then those of us who care about the health of this server and game discuss said group's shameful conduct in a direct effort to spread awareness and seek out a solution as well as vent their justified frustrations, and then all of them get temp banned and one of the once healthiest campaign completely dies, that would accurately describe what's happening now.

If someone is acting shameful he should feel ashamed when others describe his conduct. That is not bullying or shaming, that is called a natural and just consequence of acting shamefully.

It's less about numbers and more about how they're being used.

Sometimes 12 people run somebody over, it happens. Sometimes you're bored in the morning and want to pvp so you start capturing trikeeps, it happens. Hell none of that is really even a negative, the same old Bleaks and Sej fights do get boring.

It's the borderline shady stuff that annoys people. Like when the same couple of names pop into EP zone on a nightly basis to nonchalantly ask "any guilds running?", then 10 minutes later those same @name's are pushing on their DC. Or when you're messing around in Stormhaven before logging for the night and see people in zone recruiting for a "No CP DC emp push".

Because that kind of stuff is less about winning or losing pvp fights and more akin to the old tactics groups used to use to kill campaigns by cheesing so they could use the campaign as a buff server.

Maybe a tiny bit of criticism, but how do you guys play with that much info your screen? All I can do is read the screamng alerts on the screen. Not that I overly enjoy the Cyrodiil scenery and outfits people wear, but I have trouble seeing through all these training wheels.

@gabriebe , I think you need to reevaluate your own PvP abilities before you tell people they have training wheels based on their UI. That said, lots of folks have super cluttered UIs and I couldn't live like that.

Can we settle on crutches? This isn't meant to be a criticism of a singular person on their PvP skills. I mean, you have to admit it's a bit ridiculous to have alerts telling you when you should execute, dodge roll an incoming CC, etc. Part of one's skills is being able to recognize the animations and the resulting effects, and act accordingly. If it's just hand-delivered to you in a giant alert, it feels a little too easy to the filthy casual that I am.

I will admit though, it takes some skill to figure out what is going on through all this on-screen mess.

I'll be open that I play with Miat's with most of the functionalities and UI clutter turned off. I just like knowing how many folks it took to wipe me or my group. And if it was an even fight, that can let us think a bit about what we may have done wrong or correctly.

I don't think that I've had too much of a huge change in my play with addons like Miat's. I don't get ganked as often, but I've been a relatively difficult gank for a long time and not a good first choice for target selection just based on my max health.

I don't view any of it as a crutch.

Tbh I don't even notice the cues from combat cloud. Mainly I like seeing the AP ticks, just haven't bothered to turn the rest of it off.
