alright, the response just seemed so troll like
I'd suggest making the discord public, but only giving rights to talk/write to people that have PMed you.
This way, it'd be something public and visible to everyone and not some shady group pushing its hidden agenda... Just my 2c.
Lemme know if you ever need representation from a smaller guild/group @Vincelex.
you know that zos has to want your feedback for this to have any purpose right
@RinaldoGandolphi I respect you a lot and I read your write up but, I humbly disagree. I think things like Emperor flipping and lack of community driven incentives for cyrodiil, a rework of the emperorship acquisition etc deserves a second look by ZOS.
lag is a problem but its one ZOS knows about and works on everyday (seriously) so its like, bottom of the totem pole on constructive ideas/concerns.

Thats OK, its fine to disagree.
The things you listed there are important, and maybe would deserve a second look, but only AFTER fixing the lag problems. It does no good to fix the other things if the core game doesn't function. We both know, fights at the last Emp keep pretty much makes the entire campaign unplayable until they dethrone. Thats simply not acceptable. This has been going on for far too long.
You do realize at launch the game allowed 1800 people per campaign? (that was the total pop limit for all 3 factions in Cyrodiil)
https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6533
That number has been reduced numerous times since and i think were down to about 150-200 per alliance. Yet the game still lags. Cyrodiil is a ghost town compared to what it was in 2014 and early 2015
Yes, i'd like to see the things you mentioned revisted, but i'd have way more fun with the lag free game we had in 2014 pior to the Lighting Patch....anyone who was around and PVP in those times that is still left here knows how fun and lag free it was...combat actually worked.
Look at the video below. Look at how many people are fight there and not even a single hit to FPS or lag at all, NONE. the game used to work. You have that many players in one place now, and even with a overclocked 7700k and a GTX 1080 your gonna get huge FPS drops and server side lag....it used to work before. I don't think its unreasonable to ask for it to work again?

Or go to the 3 minute mark here look at all those people and no FPS loss or lag...you got that many people in one place in the game now and it would be unplayable

Your first video really isn't that impressive in terms of people around. I've seen more lately on Vivec NA/PC on a Monday morning. But more over, are you seeing something lacking? Oh...let's say the amount of particle effects from all the gear/skills/mounts on screen? It irks me to this day that people all think the lighting thing was actually a thing, and not the fact of how much more visual chaos is in the game now? I'm hopeful that the next patch will make things much better since they are working on removing much of the unwanted/needed effects.
General
In an effort to reduce the visual effect noise in group combat situations, we’ve hidden most visual effects from persistent damaging area of effect abilities cast by your allies. Area of effect abilities that have a synergy, healing, or defensive component that can benefit you will still be visible, and area of effect abilities cast by enemies will also still be visible.
Affected player abilities include the following:
Ash Cloud and its morphs
Path of Darkness and the Twisting Path morph
Volatile Familiar Special Ability
Hurricane
Rune Focus and its morphs
Impaling Shards and its morphs
Volley and its morphs
Wall of Elements and its morphs
Elemental Storm and its morphs
Caltrops and its morphs
Affected Item Set abilities include the following:
Bahraha’s Curse
Essence Thief
Grothdarr
Hand of Mephala
Ilambris
Infernal Guardian
Leeching Plate
Nerien’eth
Sellistrix
Sheer Venom
Storm Knight’s Plate
Thunderbug’s Carapace
Tremorscale
Velidreth
Winterborn
but the stain glass windows are really really impressive. no troll. i agree the lighting patch made performance worse but i dont want to lose the lights either.
I'm not the GM, but I have led the PvP groups nightly for "Chaos Crew" (aka. The Clairebears). We were hit hard by the campaign changes to Morrowind. We suffered through the painful final days of Haderus, and unfortunately did not fully coalesce around a new home. Currently running a group of five nightly in Shor. Our five has a couple of new members, and we're starting to operate well together.
