The bonuses were already higher and still are when compared with 2-3p bonuses from 5p sets of the same level and quality. Ex. purple willpower adds 1450 magicka for 2p but a purple magicka 5p set will only add about 1020 magicka as 2p buff.

Thats lame but understandable. Monster sets and vma weapons would become easily bis for pvp. I like seeing competetive 5/5/2 builds and the variety they bring for dw/1h+s builds but also front/back bar setups based on duration procs or specific effects.

They aren't used in Raiding. I know a lot of people who use them in PvP.

Exactly, in addition there is the Potentates and Vengeance sets that are useful outside of PVP.

Looks as if those sets I mentioned did receive a buff, though Endurance/Willpower/Agility did not.

    how did they get buffed?

and did any of these get buffed too? http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Weapon_Sets

Can someone confirm that the 2,3,4p from necro are actually buffed? If they are, it's a significant buff to the set...

Yes, of course they are. Why are you implying those are in any way more significant than any other.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @Wrobel @ZOS_RichLambert Could you please either reconsider this decision, or explain to us why you made this decision?

These sets were not overperforming--in PvE, people would typically prefer 3p Minor Slayer over these sets, for example. For sets that have long since fallen out of favor, an indirect nerf now--making them relatively weaker compared to the alternatives--makes no sense whatsoever.

@code65536 I would assume it is because 3p willpower might actually beat 3p minor slayer that way, but don't quote me on that - I rarely pve other than pledges and vMA.

So not only I am forced to run these 3piece sets because of this bad design where two-handed weapons are allowed only 11 set pieces... now I get (relatively) worse than before?

They are worse than 4piece, cant be golded, must be only on jewelry or weapon... In short there is zero reason to wear them outside of maelstorm/master + 5 piece + monster set combo.

@Subversus Gaining 60 more stat than those sets with slayer was not going to beat them...

Maybe make them 63.3% of the old values stronger giving 1579 stam/magicka and 211 weapon/spell damage.

Bummer. For a lot of us casuals who don't run trials (I mainly play duo), these sets are still important parts of the build. It would be nice to have a little bone thrown our way in regards to gear.

If we assume that on current patch max mag - spell dmge - crit chance bonuses have about the same dps value, then on patch 15, a set like Wise Mage wich has spell crit on 2nd and 3th pieces would contribute more DPs than Willpower, since Crit chance got buffed by 55% and Willpower's stats remain at 50% than normal. Let that sink in.

That's a disappointment for me as it seems, to make those sets useless. Those sets were good for casual players or rerolls. Would be nice if ZOS could reconsider this point to make them slightly worst than best equipment but not too far away (the way it was before)

I'm fine with not increasing the stat values on IC 3pc sets but @ZOS_GinaBruno can we please implement a way to get the jewelry in gold quality? Jewelry crafting/improvement is the preferred solution but you could also add gold jewels to the loot table for key fragment chests.

I was inaccurate earlier, one of those sets got a buff (Vengeance Leech) for it's buff to max health while the other did not (Potentates) because recovery was not buffed. (Live is on the left, PTS is on the right)

I can't say if those other sets got a buff I don't have those pieces. I would think if they have a comparable max stat like Leech then they should.

Universally adjusted the values of some 1, 2, 3, and 4-piece bonus stats for all Item Sets:
Max Health, Magicka, or Stamina has been increased by 13.3%
Weapon Critical or Spell Critical rating has been increased by 55%
Physical or Spell Resistance has been increased by 13.8%
Physical or Spell Penetration has been decreased by 22%

Except for Willpower, Agility and Endurance sets, which remain unchanged.

Fixed that for you @ZOS_GinaBruno or do you enjoy keeping us in the dark?

And using two 1p monster sets with a magicka bonus will add even more than both of these options. Willpower/Agility currently have no place in the meta. Mostly because minor slayer but also because it just doesnt fit well with using up set slots. (5, 5, 2 for stamina, 5 4 2 for magicka, willpower/agility dont allow those combinations)

Agility and willpower is an option for alot of players that cant get trialjewelrys, they where though used less and less and will be even less used after this indirect nerf. Can we get an explanation to this ZoS?

Why would you intentionally nerf willpower, agility and endurance sets when they are already at a dissadvantage by not dropping in gold?
