NEW BG : only for Morrowind owners !?

Hi guys.
With the next update, Horns of the Reach, a new Battleground ll be available. While it is located in Imperial City ( but no IC DLC needed ) only the players who purchased Morrowind "expension" will have acces to it. That s totally unfair and show again you only care about one thing.... money.
I hope enough ppl will stand against this to make this bad decision changed. What are you thoughts about it ?

Since you have to have Morrowind to get access to the BGs anyway, this is about what you should expect.

They own a product, they can choose how to market and price it, as a consumer you can decide if you think their pricing is correct. If you disagree you can wait till they correct their price to something more in line with your expectations.

I'm not sure I see the problem here.

Battlegrounds was advertised from the start as a Morrowind feature.

Next patch, they are adding a free expansion of this battleground feature. You don't need to buy the Horns DLC (or the IC DLC) to get this battleground--all you need is to have the battleground feature unlocked with Morrowind. So... they're greedy because they're expanding for free an existing paid feature? Your logic is impeccable...

Location is irrelevant.

BG's were part of morrowind expansion. Therefore you need the morrowind expansion to play bg's.

Its not that difficult to fathom.

I don t care about pve and I don t wan t to pay 40$ for one BG

You are paying 40 dollars for 4 bgs and more future bgs

they said that everyone will have acces to dlc's, after morrowind also, and that eso+ players will be able to play ALL DLC'S, including those after Morrowind.
ESO+ give acces to ALL DLC, read the description ON THEIR MAIN WEBSITE, it sais so, that Eso+ unlocks ALL DLC RELATED CONTENT ( this should include the upcoming HORNS OF THE REACH, but it doesn't)
I wonder how eso+ players feel knowing that they wont be able to play the new DLC unles they buy the "chapter"...?

My pov is as follows: u either give all eso+ players accest to full dlc as it was advertised or you remove eso+, period.

Remember me why are ppl paying eso+, if they dotn have acces to full dlc list?

Oh so PvE players should pay full DLC price if they want to do only certain part of update but PvPers for some reasons shouldnt ? Lol PvP players and their mentality. Also You pay 40$ for 4 BG not one because with Horns of the reach there will be 4 BG overall with 4 matchtypes and 1 new BG is included in Morrowind price so is free for those who already have Morrowind.
I want to also mention that actual price of Morrowind on websites with CD Keys is around 12$ and it's totally legal.

The two dungeons are the DLC. The new BG and other quality of life improvements are coming out with Update 15 that also includes the new DLC.

Umm, OP, are you by any chance mixing up the new dungeons with the new battleground map? The new dungeons are available to everyone I believe (thru ESO+ or just buying it directly); but battlegrounds were released with Morrowind and are all only accessible to those who bought Morrowind.

No, you arent understanding OP, ALL Battle Grounds require Morrowind, thats where the mechanics for it come from, without Morrowind, there is no BGs. Its just a map... for Battle Grounds, in order to access a new map you must own the thing that the mechanics for it come from.

it is included in dlc description, eso+ members must have acces to it because that eso+ offers, even if they don't own morrowind

That clearly says "As part of Update 15" not as part of the new DLC.

And the mechanics behind BGs are in the Morrowind chapter. Stop complaining. Nearly everyone knew this was the case after Morrowind launched because ZOS even stated that there would be things that you need to have the chapters for.

Really? Where were you 3-4 months ago? The white knights and fan boys ran amok and drowned out any talk of ZOS actually fulfilling their agreements to people who had ESO plus. You remember that one sentence "you will receive 100% of all downloadable content"

You actually had people here saying it was not downloadable content, then the very next sentence wondered how big the file was going to be for morrowind that they would have to download.

When youre dealing with that level of blatant stupidity and willful ignorance you have to move on there is absolutely no point in it. Youre way to late with this, cancel your sub, tell zos why and move on like a lot of us did.

You do realise ZOS can change the model as they see fit, right? Game launched as pay to play, then they changed it to buy to play with a cash shop. At launch they said major updates would come every 4 weeks, then 6 weeks then 10 weeks. You agreed to the terms ZOS put out, you just need to accept they can change these

ESO plus subscribers won't have access to the next dlc? Where does it say that they won't? ESO plus subscribers won't have access to battlegrounds if they do not own Morrowind. They should have access to the rest of the content of the DLC like the dungeons.

Queue the violins. Did your mama never teach you that "I don't care about anyone else I want what I want for free" is selfish and won't get you anywhere?

Personally, I paid for Morrowind and could not care less about the Battlegrounds or the Arena. I have enjoyed the content and location I bought but without using the entire feature set I paid too much. I would like a new quest added. Not a dungeon or a delve just something interesting that takes me around the island and maybe opens some of those chained doors. I'll be happy if i get it but I'm not holding my breath or turning blue until I do.
