What happened to the salt in this thread?

It's almost like the PvP event has sucked it all out as everyone is enjoying proper large-scale PvP to care about mining!

WHAT IS THIS MADNESS. DID I ACCIDENTALLY LOG INTO THE WRONG FORUMS?

    ...

    Keep up the positivity folks!

How are we supposed to be salty at anyone? I couldn't even to begin to pick individuals out from the herds of AP that roam Sotha during this event.

I guess we still have the fact that DC continues to try to make the map blue every single night and has been able to succeed a few times. This is one of the few things that pulls EP off of AD.

    Does that help @Jamini ?

Wait until 6am EST +/- 2 hours. We'll probably have a blue emp around then. So I think it's relatively accurate.

Not so much this campaign due to the higher populations for the PVP event, but perhaps you were around for the previous two months?

Neither statement i made is particularly true, just trying to get things going I guess. I'm surprised at the lack of salt against AD actually. We've done really well in prime time when all three populations are locked.

lol I'm aware of how dominant DC has been in the last few months during the night. I'm just not sure what the alternative you are proposing though. A truce between 1am and 2pm? Of course DC will try to flip the map blue at night, and so does EP and AD. Flipping keeps to your own faction is the goal of this game, and DC has had an advantage during that time. I'm just saying you could formulate your complaint around how unbalanced the pop is, or the sportsmanship of camping trikeeps. Because 'oh noes, they are trying to flip keeps!' is kinda funny to me.

As for AD, I think they have more success during primetime at the moment because they run bigger tighter guild zergs. I haven't been impressed by the leadership in DC so far to be honest. They either do their own thing without communicating or rely on unexperienced leaders to lead the zone zergs. It also helps that EP seems to be making really really stupid decisions strategy-wise sometimes,.

I think it's the pushing and flipping of the keeps overnight and then the holding of the tri keeps after scrolls are gone that grinds folks' gears. I've got no problem with flipping keeps overnight. It's killing PvP throughout the day that is the issue.

And your second point is false. We have literally no organization. Come into AD Sotha zone and you will see - it's not often some guild that is running PUGs around. Those guilds are generally running something like 12 tops it seems.

12 tops seems to be the case for most guild groups in Sotha DC too. It's hard to buy the no organization thing though when you run into a keep with 24 people with the same guild banner above their head ulti bombing.

Tried to acquire some friends in zone chat tonight. You all are a rough crowd. Somebody offered but in exchange I had to "do things". When I bought the game my friend told me to choose AD. He said DC had some nice people but more rude ones. He said the Nords don't have running water so they never shower therefore they smell bad. But that AD had the nicest people. So far it just seems like AD has the most pimps.

We been trying to talk to the DC taking trikeeps, holding them. It's not the pugs, it's the very same people doing it that run in an organised guild.
People that just know how to win outnumbering the enemy by far. So ofc every gets salty about that. It is just no fun when you try to hold Farragut, with no scroll behind, with 3 people vs 16, getting coldfired, tbagged and whispered what a scrub you are when dead. So how about you try walking in these shoes before you come in here and trying to be funny?

I wish the AD hords would play a bit smarter too. There is really no reason going Drake when the said DC people have emp and EP is trying to change that. You just doing those clowns a favor.

    There....salt spilled.

So, I meant to write this Monday, but there were naps to take and AP to be had so I forgot. It was also so much better when I composed it in my head two days ago, and had something to do with postcards.

Anyway, I'd like to thank TM for the 3 meteors they sent me within 5 seconds. You really must have a thing for me, or not because you proceeded to ignore me and destro train the pugs at Glade LM. You guys should vet some of your members more, though. Some of the people you have in there I don't think they'd know what they'd do if they were caught alone in a dark alley. Some of you would fight back, but others would just run or potato.

It's a lovely event and all, Midyear Mayhem, but there are some problems:
    • The lag. Server can't take all these players.
    • The queues. People who are there to PvP just can't get in during the weekends, even if they're first overall and got disconnected because ZOS is ZOS.
    • The fights. Things have mostly regressed into zerg vs zerg, and that's probably because of
    • The AP. Unless you are bombing or very successful resource farming, by far the best AP gain comes from mowing down enemy objectives. It's better to forsake one keep to zerg down another, then go back to zerg it back from your enemies than it is to defend it, if you want the most AP.
    • The Golden. While this is nice for us, because of all the AP being proliferated, these coveted gold jewels will be bought and re-sold enough to drive down the price of them and devalue the end of campaign gold gear rewards.
    • The warden bounty quest. Pretty self-explanatory.

The boxes in the rewards of the worthy, though? Awesome. It would be more awesome if i had a craft bag, ofc.

I've actually found really good fights solo avoiding keeps. I just get in transit lines to lit keeps, end up getting some 1vX where everyone is basically a 3k AP kill, and then double back for keep ticks. I've actually had a nice time avoiding zergs if I want to.

Also, I'll still be your friend @Itsnotarealwar ...

Meh we're past the point where the proof even matters because DC has a round the clock population advantage currently, but the original DC night cappers were specifically avoiding opposition.

When they dethroned our DR emp Pug last cycle, there was a repeated process of: 1. Try to take keep 2. If keep defended pull away 3. Afk for 45 minutes. That repeated for a couple of hours.

The question is: was getting killed part of their RP? Did you disrupt their session, or inadvertently participate in it? Face it Rak, you're becoming an RPer.
