No through alleged fixed gambling, big difference
I know people that got 2 mounts from 30 crates, its RNG, get over it.

But what are the drop rates supposed to be? Don't know? Then how can you even begin to allege that it is fixed?

Besides. You only opened 19 crates. Probably need to do at least 45 like you did the first season.

Has the conversion rated changed? think it was 55 crated average to get an specific aspect mount.thatlaurachick wrote: »Not only did I get nothing of note in 15 crates (oh yeah, bunch of costumes I will never wear but can't convert)
but the conversion rate on potions, food, gems etc was AWFUL. Barely made 100 gems from this, only able to buy a few things I want with the 75 gems left over from last season. Usually I'd buy a 2nd or 3rd set of 15, but not going to this time. The conversion rate is so bad it would cost more than I'm willing to pay for the statue of Clavicus Vile, the Velothi guar and some new eyeshadow.
Didn't get the nix hound tho, praise Azura.
Edit: Why can't we convert costumes/pets/etc that we don't want? At least the motif will convert since I already have all of them.

L2read OP and you will get the answer you so seek young one.

Considering I spent 5000 crowns on Nyx Hounds I'm gonna pass on that suggestion lol. I highly doubt the odds will change much.
The issue here is that the hound seems to be taking precedence over items of the same tier, it seems to be coming from most people too - they're getting absurd amount of Nyx Hounds, the RNG on them was likely weighted to make them far more common - and destroys the notions of reward tiers.
I was def. extremely lucky the first season - but there's also been other factors like not getting extra cards anymore, except once out of 19 crates - when previously you'd get an extra card roughly every 3-4 cards, and that was pretty much for everybody.
I do genuinely believe they've tweaked these crates to try to encourage us to buy more - but in doing so they've pushed me away from buying more.
When I opened 45 crates in the last 2 seasons I undeniably got duplicates - but I didn't get the same card 79% of the time. Just looking at other comments around, people are getting Nyx hounds, on average, more than 50% of the time. That one item in particular seems to be quite problematic.

Oh I must have missed the part in the OP where he states the actual chance of receiving each item and then comparing those numbers to his results, then running some quick calculus to arrive at a probability of him receiving said items on chance alone, preferably with a low p-value like maybe 5% or less.
Because that is the answer I was seeking.

When I finally got around to opening it at the beginning of the month, here's what I got. Could not have been more useless if it had tried, seeing as I already had the--wait for it--freaking Nix-Hound. This is supposed to make me want to buy more, ZOS?

You gambled, and wonder why you didn't get a jackpot. No sympathy in the least.
I'm not at all wondering why I didn't get the jackpot - also thanks for coming in and saying all the things I asked to refrain against - I did say in my post that it was my own choice. IF you also read past a grade 2 level you'd see I didn't even want the apex rewards lol... I was never seeking the jackpot.
What I was really wondering is why out of even the common rewards I got the same one 15 times, clearly an imbalance going on. I also don't recall asking for sympathy - but hey, somebody has to be the resident *** on the forums right?

All Zenimax has promised is that you will get four cards, with some possibility of getting five, and each of those cards will have some prize reward on it. From your own statement, they delivered on that promise to you. You received four cards for every crate you bought, with a chance of five, and got some kind of reward for every card.Doctordarkspawn wrote: »You bought the crates, I have no sympathy for you.

That you didn't like your reward really is kind of tough cookies.
