The problem I dont think is the BG specific queue. Its the larger group finder issue. Group Finder worked PERFECTLY the patch before One Tamriel patch, then they decided to add the 15 minute cooldown and ever since it has been broken. Seems to me they need to scrap the whole thing and start over. Add in pug trials and DSA grouping while they are at it.

I'm talking to ZOS, not to Gina as if she is the one to blame. And believe me that, at this point, I don't expect them to fix anything. Believe me. I'm just expressing my-frustrated-self as it's the right I have as a customer of this company. No more than that.

To be fair, I wasn't actually antagonizing Gina, I think it would be a legitimately funny drinking game.

The player base is frustrated. I hadn't played ESO since Christmas 2016. I came back solely for Battlegrounds, as it is the single most desired feature for me. My guild is solely small group PVP oriented. 4 to 6 players max. Most of us quit playing over the past 4 months because of how stale and zergy pvp had become. We all get hyped, try to play BGs. and sit in queue for 3 hours without getting in a game. Then we see no sense of urgency on the part of ZOS to fix it, especially since the patch PC got today is not getting pushed live on console immediately. They're sticking it in an incremental 4 weeks from now instead of submitting it for certification today, which would have it live on console by 26 June.

Harassing Gina is definitely not the way to go. But there has to be some acknowledgement on their part that this is ****ed and they need to get moving on fixing this. We paid for a service that isn't being delivered. That's not cool no matter what your opinion on anything else is.

So far I have managed to get into 2 games in 2 weeks in a group. At least on xbox you can wait hours in a four man and literally not get in a single game. Also about 3/4 of the matches are unbalanced teams and it NEVER backfills once the match has started. When you say you do internal testing and get into games fine you must understand how contradictory that sounds to nearly every one who actively plays this game.

While It is possible, I would point out this exact same scenario played out last time they patched.

Players: it is still broke.
Zos: works fine for us. Im sure someone is just declining the group.
Players: I don't think so. Not for 2 hours Straight.
Zos: oh it broke for us too. Ok here is a list of 5-7 things we will be patching.

So last patch we went from no problem, to several things need fixed. Will this week be the same? Stay tuned!

Perhaps if might be helpful if you have issues if you could take a video clip yes and then they can see exactly what you are seeing.

"You"? EVERYONE that tries to play BG is having this issue, with or without addons, not just him.

Here's my experience since today with BGs: 4 man-premade group.

- Ready check pops 5 seconds after we queue.
- Ready check fails
- Ready check fails x5
- Ready check fails again
- "Party member declinded the blablabla-message"
- Waiting for players: 1
- Forming group
- Queued
- Forming group/Queue(Party leader had Queue, rest had forming group when opening "P" to check status).
- Queued again
- Waiting for players: 1
- Nothing shows underneath quest log, opens "P" => Forming group
- Nothing for a few minutes.
- Suddenly get ported.

Aaaaaand that happened again.
Tried to queue solo: Got a queue pretty easily. Took me 10 minutes between BGs then, instead of ~20-30 as a premade.

Although. What did work, as I saw: Every team were 4 players. So maybe you fixed that part of the BGs. :^

Sadly I believe consoles are on BG LFG 1.0 and hasn't received any of the tweaks released to PC yet.

I mean, this is like asking about the rampant crime in Chicago, and then getting the reply, "Well, we haven't found any crime in Lexington, KY" ?? I know, my analogies need work, but, the point is still there. It's great that the EU isn't having problems, but, I think the majority of players posting here are NA, right? So... why bring up testing done on the other server?

A few things are possibly affecting:
EU has less population
Different servers, perhaps the build on one is somehow corrupt or just different
Time that you are testing is not 'prime time' for EU, so less problems

That's just off the top of my head... but, in any case, specifying that you tested on EU and found no problems does not mean anything for the NA players. I personally think there is something borked in the activity finder in general, since something very similar happens when a couple of friends group up and start the dungeon finder. After the ready check, it teleports everyone to the dungeon, breaks up any grouping that was already done, then fails to group the 4 team members, which results in kicking everyone back out where they now get to wait the long timer for having recently done a dungeon queue. There are a lot of problems with the activity finder.

She mentions EU here specifically because the OP is on the EU server. I'm sure it's just to assure them that they didn't only test on the NA server.

I am blown away by this... Group Queue for Xbox NA has been broken virtually non stop since Morrowind launch. Last night we spent almost two hours in the Queue before everyone quit in frustration. We repeatedly received the message that someone in our group declined the ready check and have been removed from the Queue. How can you guys not know this?... And more importantly how can you release something in this state. I feel ripped off on an epic level. Many of the people I play with are on the verge of calling it quits.

Queue stops working when too many players are queued. So your test on empty servers are useless.

Your frustration is completely understandable. We have been working very hard on addressing the issues relating to the Grouping Tool (which has been, in turn, affecting queuing for Battlegrounds). That said, we do have more fixes already scheduled for the next patch that should address issues where you accept the Ready Check, but then just go back into the queue. The fixes for this issue were done right before the weekend, so there wasn't time to get it into this morning's patch.

Any chance you can do 'the next patch' tomorrow, or some time before next week? It is a pretty major issue, and really hurting the game - I have seen a huge amount of players leave the community because of this, please hotfix!

Just a thought guys, i play 5v5 in gw2 now and its a blast. Its f2p and you can go in 5v5 from the beginning - all players in pvp are max lvl with all skills unlocked, gear is stadarized and if you are using action camera mode controls are very much like in ESO.
