In real life, I have that Indiana Jones thing -- I hate snakes and ALL reptiles. The only things I hate more than reptiles are octopussies.

So... I deal with the NPC Argonians and like them well enough as characters, but they are a species I will NEVER, EVER play.

My view on Argonians? Simple! They are not only awesome, but superior. They are the closest-looking you can get when you have a dragon-themed character, their lore is extremely fascinating, and as of the fourth era, they are the most united people in all of Tamriel.

The Empire is a shadow of its former self AND currently without an emperor, the Aldmeri Dominion are dealing with unrest from the Empire and even within their own faction, the Nords are divided, the Redguards have political unrest and the Dominion to worry about, the Orcs are scattered, and the Dunmer are, umm.....well.....you know.

I bet if anyone would make a thread about how Redguards are only good as slaves to work in our fields and kwama mines, Zos would close it in few minutes. GG Zos, lets promote slavery a bit more.
And all you "slavers", I wish I could just somegow swap you for proud Orsimer or Khajiit, so you could enjoy the racist talk with bretons and altmers. You do not deserve to be in EP.

An argonian looks much closer to a lizard or amphibian at birth. When it comes of age, the Hist transforms it to a more mer/man like appearance (aka breasts, 2 legs, erect while standing, etc.) so that men/mer (and cat-folk) will be accepting of the lizard-folk.

Duh, read ES lore. This isn't animal planet.

Well I have been bad at building my characters in general. Mainly due to that fact that I don't have all the time in the world to play so farming is rather hard to get done.
Currently I am working on my main which is an Argonian Templar Tank. Sword and Board. For now I have been using Deltia's build "Atlas" as a guid line.

I really want to explore my Argonian Nightblade or try out the Warden but I don't want to until I have crafting completely covered on my Main, so then he can craft gear for my other characters.

Made my second argonian a warden for Morrowind. Love playing her. But gods do Dunmer annoy me so sent her off to get her Blade of Woe - decided she's a Shadowscale masquerading as an innocuous warden so she can pursue her vendetta against Dunmer.

She's doing quite well with that. And I'm having great fun.

Did you not hear about the oblivion crisis where mehrunes Dagon had to close all portals in black marsh because they launched such a powerful assault on his realm and were set to invade it if the portals were not closed.

If they can force a daedric prince to go back in his steps then they have earnt my respect

Argonians are physiologically different than man and mer. They can live underwater if they want to (and do). There's nothing wrong with the mud huts for their purposes, and they clearly have fancier dwellings in the form of Xanmeers.

A single (1) chimer caused all major daedric princes to avoid direct assault on nirn. And as far as we can tell he has weird social anxiety problems to boot, so hes basically a socially *** chimer. Every. major. daedric. prince.

Until recently I wasn't very keen on them, they seemed a tad too "alien" for me to get inside the head of one and RP them, but recently I made an Argonian MagWarden and I've quickly grown quite fond of him. I think that in part I owe that to reading The Infernal City and The Lord of Souls where one of the main characters is an Argonian called Mere-Glim. Reading about him gave me a better idea of how Argonians think, etc.

Argonians have underrated racials, they are a reasonable choice for just about everything.

To be fair, the Altmer saved the Khajiit from extinction. That has to count for something. I feel there are nuances in the lore of who is annoying and who is truly rotten to the core.
