Tab Targeting - Does it only allow attacking through enemies on PvE?

Since you can attack through enemies using single target attacks using tab targeting in PvE (as long as your crosshairs are in the white outline). Though I've yet to test this on PvP.

I've never tried using tab targeting this entire time . So use to single player elder scrolls . If you target with that does all your ranged attacks go at that target no matter where your cursor target is ?

If your cross-hairs are within the white bounding outline of the Tab-targeted entity, all your attacks will hit that target, otherwise it chooses the nearest hitbox (aka the closest enemy to your crosshairs).

Ever since they changed it to white outline I haven't been able to attack through enemies at all, be it mobs or players (or, gods forbid, sorc pets).

Wtb old tab targeting New one is just buggy af, I gave up on using it.

In PvE, so far as I've tested, it does. but you have to be exactly in the outline:

It's possible my crosshair was not in the outline. When things get hectic I don't really have time to target the crosshair, I wish it'd just let me auto target the enemy and not a random mob in completely opposite direction but it doesn't unfortunately:/

It's weird though. Some times it still will do a hard override of anything else and fire an attack at the mob you have targeted even if you're standing with your back to it. It coincidentally happens when I actually do NOT want to hit the targeted mob too

I find it pretty useless in its current form overall, if I have to manually target a mob to hit it I might as well do it without wasting time on tab target(and firing through enemies isn't an issue in PvE much because you can just move).

I used Tab targeting on Molag Kena once... When storm atronach spawned, I couldn't attack him even when standing near him - always got message "Target is out of range" cause Kena was locked as my primary target even though she was far away. Used it also on Gamyne Bandu, and couldn't attack adds... Stopped using it
