With it being not that common that people play with crafted gear, which of course stinks a bit cause its the only way to see many of the new motifs, I wanted to try and promote the idea of having a nice style and motif on your toon. Please ZOS give us transmog for styles please. Anyway, please post some pictures on your toons and share your amazing looks with the rest of us. Here is my Warden Tank in his new Torug's Pact Armor crafted in Militant Ordinator style to start us off, lets see what everyone has

I really wish I could transmog too then i wouldnt have to switch out daggerfall motif for that ugly bloodspawn monster set.

i always try to make one of my sets crafted but its getting harder these days with crafted sets being much more niche or just plain disappointing (was really hoping for some good sets from morrowind, no such luck :C)

that said I like having my weapons and at least chest / legs crafted so I can pick appearance as well as weapon traits (and F the noise on the perfect weapon trait grind)

but yeah, getting harder these days.

Crafted gear, or any gear in eso is so ugly. They all have the exact same silhouette. I prefer costumes

all 4 of my stam dds are running 1 full crafted set & 1 full dropped set, with vma weapons or monster sets filling the additional slots

this results in some very strange combos of clothing so i too tend to hide them with a costume!

my sorceress in her julianos and a few other things. rather then going for a single style, I wanted to mix and match and I think it turned out pretty nice. now if only I could dye her staff....

I'm a really big fan of the Silken Ring motif. It's by far my favorite craftable style at the moment.

This is my lowbie (level 6, lol) stam DK. 1p Ra Gada light hat, 1p Silken Ring heavy chest, 5p Silken Ring medium armor, 2p Yokudan daggers:

I think many styles inevitably suffer when they require better quality materials. For example, I absolutely love the ebony style when iron is used, but it looks God awful in rube. Hey, the same holds true in TES games too. Many of the low level armours look a lot better than their high level counterparts. Dragon Bone armour is just awful in Skyrim. So much so, I purposely use the alchemy glitch to bring low level armour up to the same standard as I'd get from some of the better gear in Skyrim.

The only time I use crafted gear is when I'm leveling alts with all training. Other than that they're just placeholders until I get better dropped gear.

Made a Morrowind-related collage of my breton sorcerer.

Crafted equipment:
Julianos (5): 4 Ebony, 1 Dro-m'Athra,
Torug's Pact (2): Ebony epaulets and Breton breeches (not visible under Ebony robe).
Also using monster helmet (hidden) and Willpower jewelry. I like this appearance so much. In order to preserve it and increase DD potential I will go Kena helmet + 5 Julianos + 5 BSW (2 staffs, breeches and jewelry) in the future. It will be probably hard to farm staffs, but nothing can stop one to look fancy.
