StamDK needs more Stamina focused Skills. How about a Stamina morph of either Talons or Fossilize?

StaminaDK relies on being tanky and applying DoT's for pressure instead of being high burst like other classes. In order to do that effectively however you need to rely on CC's, stuns, snares, ect to pin down players to apply that pressure.

Outside of 2 DoT's StamDK lacks Stamina morphs for any of it's skills and has to constantly use Magicka for Igneous Shield, Spiked Armor, Wings, Talons, Fossilize, ect. So when you're having to rely on those skills heavily with a small Magicka pool this puts the class at a disadvantage compared to other classes like Stamplar which has Blinding Javelin and Power of the Light or StamSorc's Hurricane that's able to provide that pressure and buffs using Stamina.

To this point StamDK has been simply relying on passives like Major Mending, Helping Hands, and Battle Roar to make it competitive in PvP rather than actual class skills. Every one of those are nerfed in Morrowind. StamDK needs more Stamina morphs of skills to make up for what's it's now losing in other areas. My suggestion is to look at adding a poison Stamina morph of Talons or a Stamina morph of Fossilize, and then as I stated in another post look at reworking Molten Weapons so that one of the morphs gives Major Brutality (instead of Major Sorcery) and increased Heavy Attack Damage.

    We absolutely need more stam morphs since atm is the most boring and unoriginal class,the only skill worth being used is take flight,an ultimate

    You really like going after tanking abilities don't you? Choking talons is used by tanks for crowd control & applying minor main to trash & burning talons is used by magicka dps. So not many PvE dk tanks & mag dk chainers are going to agree with the changes to talons.

    Damage + hard CC + Minor Mending/Mitigation ... something similar to ridiculous warden abilities.

DK is receiving huge nerfs to Stamina sustain and healing, there is no cost reduction cp, blocking cost doubled, all Stamina abilities increased in cost by 5%, heavy armor resource return nerfed again, your not going to be able to give up anything on a Stam build to get more Magicka and even if you did regen is now slower so your not going to get the results you do now.

    Well right now all StaminDK has that is Stam based is two weak poison DoTs. Every other class ability costs Magicka. Up until now you've been able to sustain well on a DK through Helping Hands and Battle Roar so you could invest some into Magicka and use those other utility skills. Now that you're resource starved in Morrowind you have to choose as you said and this puts DK at a disadvantage to the other Stamina classes like StamSorc and Stamplar which get higher damage from passives and don't rely as much on Magicka skills.

    I'm pretty sure that i could make almost the same build, with Morrowind max resource crafted set it will be even easier.

    Yeah, I've switched my stam DK over to a hybrid build for this reason. CP changes support this nicely.

    Honestly nothing from the earthen heart tree can be made stamina because of redundancy issues from helping hands and as for choking talons that wouldn't be the best for those who are tanking both stamina and magicka (Your block resource only comes from stamina).

    What we really need is new skills, three years without any new class skills; if and when new class skills arrive a majority of them for DK class need to have stamina morphs or outright be a stamina skill. I have advocated each PTS that we need 6 new skills (2 for each classes sub class).
