1. I've actually said this "stupid way to buff Xv1", so there's no reason to shame me for 1vX perspective.I dont want to be that kid that ruins the party, but you're talking about 1vX and not single encounters. The nerf to blocking is almost nothing when facing a single opponent. OK,templars\stamplars will destroy your stamina with puncturing but fighting a mag dk,stam dk,nb,or stam sorc is almost the same. Permablocking should be removed to promote some more skillfull play style like rolling or shielding, like increasing block cost after every block (and that's in line with what zenimax is trying to achieve, even in pve)
Than block cast must be completely removed, returned stamina recovery in block and cost should be reduced by 4x, if we talk about how to make game realistic of course.Come on people . You are literally sheating your weapons and unsheating your other weapon . You are changing the shield you are using . You are dropping block for like what ? 0.5 seconds ? Less ? Don't you think you can just get around this with little bit of L2P ? I mean , how are you supposed to keep block while putting the shield you are blocking with on your back and bringing another one out ? It is simple logic . You cannot continue blocking while changing your weapons .
Apart from logic , these small things are what makes tanking challenging . Personally , I don't bar swap during axes (only fight I perma-block) until they are gone . It is challenging and I like it that way . Imagine your block not dropping while weapon swapping . How easy axes would be ? They would be a joke . And please be realistic , you can easily bar swap in any fight apart from axes . Even while saying this , I must admit . I have seen few people bar swapping while holding 4-5 axes and not dying . I was amazed . To be honest , I have done that only couple times and each bar swap caused a small heart attack . Knowing that a small delay on your decision is going to result in you dying is what makes this mechanic very good . I am tanking in PTS with my same old setup and it is fine , from PvE side of course . No issues in sustain or survivability , no sturdy , same CP distrubution . It is fun to be challenged and I am looking forward to tanking axes when Morrowind hits live . It will be amazing ^^
For PvP , every perma-blocking build will be running the 1h/s ultimate and you don't drop block when bar swapping as long as it is active sooooo ... You know . Tava's Favor + Blood Spawn + Hide of Werewolf here we go !
