ESO PvP is pay to win.

Mount speed and stamina being sold in ingame shop being the main offenders. On the map the size of Cyrodiil it is massive advantage being able to maneuver and travel quickly, as well as not being locked into knocked down animation when ganked while riding mount.Now this would be fine if people were able to earn ingame shop currency while playing the game like in GW2, sadly that is not possible.What is also not possible is to pay mount upgrades with gold without being constricted with once per day upgrade policy. This is something you can only see in worst of F2P games and i have no clue how did they manage to put this in the game without massive backlash especially from PvP players.

To be fair. P2W always means pay to get advantage. Failing to use it properly is more your mistake.

I bet you had no 1v1 ganking tournament where one rides a mount and second player tries to gank him. In that case it is very p2w

I have never "won" from having a fast mount. There are some advantages while getting ganked, but definitely not pay to win.

Get real OP. What You win excatly by having leveled horse ? You just traveling faster between fights but what You get from that? I mean real things that makes You winning over other peoples not fact You are faster reaching some places on map.

Anyway You can also max up Your horse normal way if You play enough time so it's not pay to win but pay to progress which are completly 2 different things.

Well then that's fault of people draining horse out of stamina. That's deadwish which ganker only executes. You have low stamina ? Then dont sprint on horse. You'll reach Your destination little later but You'll be able to sit down from horse when You'll be attacked.

Riding endurance gives you an advantage in maybe 1/2 of 1% of 1% of PvP situations - if that. Who even waits open world anymore for the slim chance that a lone rider will come along one day? That's a lot of waiting.

Are you saying that, on the map of the size of Cyrodiil, being able to move much faster and having reduced chanced to be knocked off when attacked in PvP presents no advantage whatsoever? Because saying something like that in my view is bloody laughable. Advantage is clearly there and it is buyable with real money.

Well...bc this game has been out for like 3 years and it only takes...what? 2 months? to full upgrade stamina and speed on your horse without the crown store. And it's not like any of your mount upgrades affect you while in combat.

It is handy having a fast mount in cyrodiil when playing the objective, trying to get to a keep defence in time etc. Also helps a lot for earning AP to get to #1 on leader board.

It is possible to get a maxed out mount without spending money (even if it takes a couple of months) so it's not really pay 2 win. It's a convenience item.

If max speed mounts were sold for crowns and were unable to be obtained by playing the game, then that would be P2W.

Whether pvp is in whatever state , what had it have to do with the horse speed and stam upgrades from crown stores ? Anyway i'm just trying to keep myself entertain while working since this is a troll thread.
