You can't wait? Is your heart going to stop if you do?
You can wait, you just don't want to or feel you should have to.
Maintenance needs to be done. If it wasn't done and they left whatever is wrong on the live version, this thread would be about how buggy and horrible things were.

Well aren't you just the most adorable little obnoxious ass
It needs to be done when it needs to be done. If things were going wrong and they left the servers live, all these threads and comments would be complaining about buggyness/glitches/connection issues.
So no, you go away.
Eu is generally more tolerant and therefore taken for a ride. ( not serious)

yes... but it's different hardware in a different location...... perhaps there are hardware problems to be sorted?
This is why NA server come first before EU server
you do understand that the servers are on different continents so it's not the same people doing na and eu?

I know it says "not serious". I still gotta comment on it lol...
IF EU is tollerant even in the slightest then I'm a baked potato.
I lived there for 24 years, never coming back. (Leave Scandinavia and Finland outta this though, those people deserve some love!)

If the servers are so bad that maintenance needs to be done constantly, that's another issue entirely that I have not even tried to speak on/about.
So no, you go away.
and @smdl I'm aware of that, but all of this is just a bunch of ignorant whiny people upset that something had to be fixed right now.
Well the second estimated time has passed, no third one posted yet....https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/4076630#Comment_4076630
(Oops they posted one just as I linked it) Woo Hoo on soon if true.

Can i have your stuff when you leave the EU?
10 hours... 10 hours... Let that sink in.

Do I need to repeat my post?
Let's all NA maintenances would go for whole day long and then we will speak about "need to be done".

Thinking about it,
considering some servers are online before others and that in general all platforms\zones are separated.
Why not have each Megarserver maintenance at a different time - like in middle of the night not in middle of the day.
People will tell you it's because of the client but I call BS on that.
WoW's Oceanic servers get different maintenance times and they use the NA client. Patch days are a different can of worms iirc, but not every maintenance is a patch or bug fix. Most of them are just server restarts.
ZOS did in fact split maintenance times for US/EU servers in the beginning. In fact, they even responded to customer criticism of the EU server down time post-initial release and moved it.
But I think when it was realised the game did not sell anywhere near forecast release figures (conjecture, but going on the negative feedback and reviews surrounding the release) combining the outages was a cost-cutting measure as it did not require US-based staff to be working in EU hours. Also, one has to consider the EU straddles many different time zones, so there'll always be some people unhappy with an EU mega-server outage window.
Since when is inconveniencing and frustrating entire EU playerbase of a game once a week profitable? Didnt they think that some people may unsubscribe or stop playing entirely once sufficiently annoyed by this and other issues?
When your maintenances (EVERY of them) would lasts for ALL day long, then you would have a right to speak here. Go away, ZOSfersteiner.LadyLavina wrote: »Maintenance needs to be done.
