I'm leveling a warden hybrid now and will run vMA for you when he gets to 50. The challenge is easy and has been done before so why are you still posting it? The hardest thing about vMA is learning the mechanics, once you do that then you can complete it even on a crappy build.

A better challenge would be for a group of all hybrids to do a vet HM trial like HoF or MoL.

I agree with your statement that a better challenge would be for a group of hybrids to do a vet HM trial. I brought this thread back up because the scheduled steam tonight is a great opportunity for the creative director of the game to back up his own statement about hybrids.

    - Split your attribute points as evenly as possible into Health, Magicka, and Stamina (22/21/21).
    - Use an end-game craftable 5 piece hybrid set like Pelinal's Aptitude.
    - Use a stat-mixing 5 piece set like Armor of the Trainee.
    - Fill the remaining 1 or 2 spots as you see fit.
    - Complete Veteran Maelstrom Arena with this hybrid build once the Morrowind Patch is active.

You can't say "prove Hybrid Builds Work" then give them the most inefficient build possible. Nobody puts points into health, they shouldn't either. Trainee is also an awful idea. For a hybrid you use Pelinals, 5x medium armor and split your attributes evenly between magicka and stamina. Beyond that its their own build (as long as they use a mix of magicka and stamina abilities)

I mean, I fully agree that its silly they are saying hybrids are fine when they very clearly aren't. But you need to at least be fair about it.

In post #202 I updated to suggest a more current, efficient build:

    5 piece Shacklebreaker
    5 piece Amberplasm
    1 piece Kena
    1 piece Domihaus

These sets work nicely enough together. The two parts that would really hurt is when we get into 1) dividing attributes to have health/magicka/stamina as equal as possible, and 2) dividing champion points in a way that splits them evenly across damage stars that you normally wouldn't mix. These two areas are where the definition of hybrid (if we take it in its most literal sense as it applies to a build) hurts the most.
