Did I mention I really love seeing more hybrid sets? So nice having options other than pelinals and arena.

Going to make 5 pc shacklebreaker + 4 pc assassins guile for leveling my warden - weapon and spell crit, weapon and spell damage, max magicka and stamina, and magicka and stamina recovery. It gives everything.

    Impregnable Armor
    2 - Maximum Health
    3 - Maximum Stamina
    4 - Maximum Magicka
    5 - 2500 Critical Resistance

Trying to theorycraft with this and determine if it is worth it. Basically, it frees up all your trait slots to use whatever you want there, but I am not sure if that is worth it. Thoughts?

I'm not all that familiar with pvp traits, but how much impen do you get from traiting it on all 7 gear spots? Is it less than 2500?

Definitely seems worthwhile. You can turn those impen traits into reinforced heavy to help counter penetration stacking, divines to boost mundus, or infused to stack max stats.

Thought about the same thing, Could run divines, reinforced on big pieces or infused. My only concern is Sustain but i guess if you run divines and Recovery Mundus then that is a crap load of sustain. Also i am looking at TBS build too and this set is kinda like that with 5 pieces just being different.

Really dissapointed by all the new sets. Mostly niche, very boring, uninspired. I've expected much more.
I was hoping for something potent, something that might add to or replace things we have now. But it doesn't seem so.

    This.

I was hoping for some cool and unique one piece set weapons for battlegrounds, sort of like VMA or VDSA.

Except, that you can have fun and PVP to get these items instead of grinding PVE content that's about as enjoyable as digging your brain out of your ear with a rusty spoon.

It's PVP ZOS, we want weapons. We want to hit other people with them. How about a battleground Destro staff with a nice one-piece magicka regen bonus and cost reduction to one or more Destro skills or something? Throw in some cool unique one-piece set bows and two-handed swords that people will want to use, and then play 80 battlegrounds to get one.

Good job ZOS, these are horrible sets. WTF were you thinking?! Who designed these sets? You had a great opportunity here and you blew it completely.

Yes its less. It's about 250 per piece I think so around 1750 for 7 pieces.

Will have to see what you PC guys come up with, but I'm not seeing any of these sets jump out at me as a MagSorc.

Seems like some builds will probably use 3 jewelry again from Trials.

Also, to echo those talking about reworking craftable sets. Yes.

I really wanted to get some of new motifs until I realized - I don't use craftable sets. I see a lot of builds for end game that use 100% dropped sets.

Why not make a transmog system so it gives a lot of players reason to actually buy and farm motifs outside of crafting writs.

That would also allow greater player diversity in looks on top of the costumes people wear.

How is this not in the game yet?

    SupportBlade Build

This Build is designed around screwing over the enemy as much as possible while he's dealing with someone else. This isn't designed for 1v1...Its designed entirely to be a *** basically

    Gear Set

    Vanguard’s Challenge
    2 - Maximum Health
    3 - Maximum Health
    4 - Healing Taken
5 - When you taunt an enemy Player, they deal 50% less damage to all other Players but 100% more damage to you for 15 seconds.

(Two ways you can go about this, You can do DW/Jewelry or Staff/Jewerly/Armor Piece)

    Robes of Tramsmuation
(2 Items) Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
(3 Items) Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
(4 Items) Adds 688 Spell Critical
(5 Items) When you heal a target with a healing over time ability, grant them 1304 Critical Resistance for 20 seconds.

(This set will either be your 5 piece armor set, or you can do Restro Staff/Armor Pieces Back Bar)

    Tremor Scales Helm/Shoulders

Weapon Slot One - Staff or DW
Concealed Blade (For Speed), Inner Rage (Ranged Taunt, If staff route you can do Ice Staff for Heavy Attack), Shadow Image, Dark Cloak, Cripple

Weapon Slot Two - Restro Staff
Swallow Soul (Or Funnel), Regen, Harness Magicka, Healing Ward, Double Take. (you can replace Swallow Soul if ya want, Same with Harness Magicka if ya want to go more debuff routing or slot Purge)

Put Magicka Recovery on Jewelry, You're not there for damage you're there to reduce the players damage while maintaining stealth as long as possible.

So lets say you come across a 1v1, with this *** build you're able to Put a Hot on the your friend (Two if ya use Funnel)....Reducing the crit damage he takes, you're able to Shadow image onto the target reducing his damage, and you'r able to Inner Rage applying a stupidly powerful snare and a 50% damage debuff..Now he could attempt to chase you around, But you have a Teleport a Root, and Dark Cloak...

    Enjoy being a ***.

Posted this on the morrow wind forum, but since they dropped NDA for sets

Hey thanks for listing these out. These look cool! All have strong use cases, but none strikes me as overtly op (yet, perhaps).

If you can proc Coward's with quick taps on shift while taking hits, it's very very strong.

I like the way war maiden looks for mageblade and Templar, especially if that spell damage bleeds over to the heal on path. A well rounded set for nonelemental types.

Infector looks as op as any other stam proc.. I hope the animation is badass. What exactly is a Hunger? :open_mouth:

Trickery does not need a downtime that long imo. Fun looking set. I could see it being competitive if the downtime to uptime ratio gets adjusted. Those are all strong and difficult to acquire buffs now. I'd recommend 10 seconds up, 5 seconds down because the buffs arenumerius, not predictable, and not all useful in the same situations.

Wizard's will go underappreciated, but damned if I won't be hunting that one asap. That will be super strong on certain builds. YES that effect will proc on your damage shields. You're welcome.

Impregnable is stupid strong for defense but leaves you lacking sustain and damage. I'll stick with Transmutation for my build personally, but this gives other class some easily accessible and extremely op crit resistance. Lol

Vanguard's is a zergling tank's wet dream. Please delete this set. No, I'm not being sarcastic. You'll need to be VERY tanky and rely on allies for sustain tools to make effective use of this set next patch, but there will be VERY tanky people inside zergs spamming sustain tools next patch...soooo...... ugh.

Warrior-Poet...meh. Do we really need more tank sets? Give Armor Master some rework love if you want a high max health tanky set...

Knight Slayer....only if we end up in some whacky heavy attack spam meta because we can't sustain without them. Won't be good in gank builds, which a few people have asked me about. I love the idea of tying damage to max or current health levels, but I would recommend something along the lines of "5pc: your fully charged heavy attacks apply a dot which deals 12% of your opponent's current health per second for 5 seconds. This effect is capped against bosses." 6% in Cyrodiil comes out to 1380 damage at full health, decreasing as they get lower. It's an anti-execute designed to dent tanks without burning squishies basically.

Guile and Shacklebreaker look very interesting. I like the hybrid stats, so maybe Pelinal's wouldn't be necessary in some sick hybrid builds. Guile will be extremely strong with the right 3-effect poisons. But then you'd be using poisons........ I do anticipate certain hybrid classes to be VERY strong next patch.

All well and good but none of these, zip, zilch, are BiS for anything, very niche uses not worth farming or buying. I do agree that the last thing zergs need is more tankiness we need more zerg busters not more zerg pampers.
