In the last three days, I found out that battlegrounds is not really 4v4v4 mode, group tool is so broken it makes it "stand in Rawl'kha for half hour queuing just to get kicked out when you find a group and get hit with 20mns deserter penalty" mode.

This. Regardless of whether or not that's the case, the way the Developer Comments are worded looks as if they think the people that play their game are stupid.

Well, let's step back and examine:

-Players discontent with state of game following current PTS patch notes
-Few players have actually left the game
-Few players have actually cancelled their subs
-Few players have actually cancelled their Morrowind pre-orders

Yeah, I think that's the definition of stupid. You have the power to directly affect change, and then don't do it.

This is a company. They live and breathe numbers. You'd have to vote with your wallet in order to get through to them.

And that's why a change for the greater good of the game will never happen. Only a few of us see things for the way they are. The rest are blind, short-sighted fanboys that will throw money at mere false illusions without analyzing what's in front of them. Only to complain once they see that the advertised content is not worth the sales price paid. By then it's already too late as the company has their money.

Few months go by and the cycle repeats itself.

And the companies already know the tactic, it has been used so much and has been so effective. "Hype them up a bit, they'll pre-order without thinking it twice"
