Can we address the major Campaign Population Imbalances in Morrowind

I know they're adding Battlegrounds which is great and all but what about looking into improving the existing Campaigns? Lately on PS4 it is just one alliance running away with each Campaign typically and everybody is making characters on that dominating alliance to further exasperate the problem. One Tamriel just made it so they can go log onto a different character and be on the winning team in a matter of seconds.

There needs to be some kind of population restriction that keeps alliances on a semi even playing field or what's the point. If you were put into a queue when your alliance becomes overpopulated then it would cause those players to either wait, go play on a different less populated alliance, or join a different Campaign that needs more presence from their Alliance.

Nobody else thinks this is something that needs to be addressed? Is this not a problem on PC like it is on PS4? Tonight as I'm posting AD has a full 3 bar server in Scourge and DC and EP each have 1 bar. EP then typically has 3 bars in Haderus at night while AD and DC have 1. There's only a few hours of the day where numbers are fairly balanced.

Why ZoS hasn't done anything about it before now is beyond me. I mean imagine any other PvP game like COD or Battlefield if you joined a match and every game it put 10 players on your team and 30 players on the other team and it was like that all day. Most people would either join the team with 30 or quit playing altogether.

Sounds like you need fewer campaigns in order to force everybody to populate them, if your issue is locked factions versus empty ones on different campaigns.

They just removed 2 Campaigns in the last update. The problem isn't a lack of players, the problem is once one alliance gets a big lead a lot of people hop on their character that's on that alliance and even if they have to sit in a queue for 30 minutes they rather play on the side that's dominating. This leads to the better players congregating more on that alliance and it's just a snowball effect.

The problem starts when best pvp guilds are active only on specific ally. This is very difficult to solve. The best thing they could do is give weaker allies some kind of buff to NPC/buildings (and more NPC in general) to defend their side. This obviously would not solve everything, but it will make defending more balanced.

Atm, organized group can take castle from 2-3x more undergeared noobs who try to defend, but due to lack of gear, skill and cooperation, is bound to fail.

    It could work as following:

Your ally players difference compared to number of players in other ally = npc and buildings with + "X"% HP/dmg.

Remove one more campaign. So 2 are left. With 3 alliances it will be impossible, that each alliance can dominate on one campaign.

Or add penalty queue for overpopulation.

I dont think you can remove more campaign unless you block CP, else nobody will play it until they hit ąt least 300 CP.

Except it is. You can't have 4 CP enable campaigns when you can't even pull a double pop lock 95% of the time if there were only two campaigns. ZOS either needs to remove skull and chillrend(?) because they are 10000% dead the majority of the time for anyone looking to do anything but roleplay as Bob the Builder on their way to a PvDoor emp.

And faction hoping is not even close to an issue when it comes to having competitive campaigns on a day-to-day basis. It just seems like it does because most of the players that switch alliance regularly are ardent Xv1ers who many assume are so bad--and regularly within spitting distance of so many people--that they have to be master zerglords.
